Chapter 13

-Next day/ Wednesday-
*4:20pm*
Luz was in the small kitchen area of the dorm making a sandwich, Amity was in her last class for the day so Luz was all alone in the dorm, she was about to take a bite of her sandwich when she heard loud banging on the door which scared the life out of her for a second, after she took a few bites of her sandwich she decided to answer the door before she could unlock it she heard very loud yelling which scared her a bit not knowing why the person was yelling at the door, sounded like a females voice and she was yelling for Amity so like any normal person would do she told the woman that Amity was still in class, there was silence for a minute so Luz thought the woman had left which she did but she came back a few minutes later, banging on the door again and yelling that she was Amity's mother and a lot of other things but Luz ignored the yelling and decided to call Amity.

"There's a crazy woman banging on the door saying she's your mother." Luz said taking a bite out of her sandwich. "Make sure the door's locked and don't say anything to her, I'll be there in a few minutes." Replied Amity, grabbing her bag and telling her teacher she needed to leave early. "Alright see you soon." Luz said ending the call. A few minutes passed the banging on the door stopped but the yelling didn't so Luz decided to listen to music and read the book she got from the library the day before on couch in the living room area, she made it to chapter five before she felt a hand in her hair which made her jump, she paused her music and looked up being met by golden eyes and a sweet smile.

"You got rid of her?" "Yep" "Was she really your mother?" "Mhm" What did she want?" Amity let out a small laugh at all the questions, which gave Luz a weird tingling feeling in her stomach. "She claimed she missed me, which was an obvious lie." Replied Amity placing a hair clip in Luz's hair. "Noticed you kept blowing hair out of your face." She said smiling. "Awe thank you." Said Luz closing her book. "I'm gonna take a quick shower, if my phone goes off ignore it." Amity said walking to the bedroom to get a change of clothes.

About ten minutes later Luz heard Amity's phone ringing 'She said ignore it but did she mean don't touch it or press ignore, no then they'll think she's ignoring them and might get mad at her or think she's mad at them, but what if it's important like someone's in the hospital or someone died or-' "Luz?" Y-yeah what's up, s-something wrong!?" Luz stuttered out getting off the couch not noticing the smaller girl who was sitting next to her. "Nothing's wrong, you just looked a bit worried." Said Amity handing Luz the book she had forgotten about. "You ok?" Luz looked at Amity confused before smiling "yeah I'm fine, I was just overthinking about something stupid." Said Luz sitting back down next to the smaller girl realizing the ringing had stopped. "Ok well, I was thinking of ordering pizza for dinner but I don't know what kind of toppings you like." Amity said grabbing the remote. "As long as there's no pineapples on it I'm fine."Luz said sitting her book down on the small coffee table infront of her.
