Max is really nice and funny and I have looked up to him ever since he found me, I might even have feelings for him.
He found me while I was running away from my orphanage, I was lost and Max helped me feel like I belonged.
Although no one says it we all know he is the leader of our group, which still has no name.
Alex and I were drinking coffee in the kitchen arguing over who is the better hunter when Max walked down stairs.
"Hey guys." He says, "Guess who woke up."
I turn to see what is going on and I see her.
"Let me introduce Flame." He says pretending to act of posh and formal.
He bows and Alex bursts out laughing but Flame doesn't notice.
"These are my friends and partners Alex and Bridget." He continues.
Alex waves and I just stare. She looks around and once she locks eyes on me I see something. When Alex said she was the monster he might have been right, her eyes are not normal but instead as red as fire and when I look closer I could see that they were fire.
And the way she is standing, she seems powerful yet calm. She is pretty I guess, people normally say I am in a kick ass way, but she just looks different.
"So...." Max says trying to break the silence, "What role do you think you have?"
"What do you mean?"She answers, her voice was soft yet strong.
"Well Bridget is the violent one, Alex is the nerdy one and I guess I am just the one who keeps us together." Max replies.
'"Well," She starts "I guess I will just have to see."
