5. Flame

I look at all the people sitting here and watch as Max points to everyone. "These are my idot friends and partners Alex and Bridget."

Bridget has long brown hair, in a high pony tail with a blue strips of colour.
She sits with her head in her hand and has a dagger dangling on her pointer finger. The way she stares at me make me feel like I don't  belong.

Alex on the other hand seems like the opposite. He was leaning back on the chair with his feet up. His smile that stretches from ear to ear, stands out on his chocolate skin.

"So Flame have you seen our house or were you too busy being sleeping beauty?" He chuckles, laughing at his own joke.

"Just ignore him." Alex whispers in my ear, "Let me give you a tour."

He grabs my arm and leads me to the main door. What I see is amazing. I didn't realise how amazing this house was until. I look at it properly. The walls are white with wooden floor boards and a staircase spirals up to the second level.

"Oh and this is the best bit!"
He drags me over to the lounge room and leads me over to a huge glass sliding door with over looked an amazing park.

"There is a river there and sometimes we can watch the sunset. What do you think?" He asks

"Wow. Do you live by your self?" I ask

"Besides Bridget and Alex I guess we have our ways, but do you want to stay with us or do you have somewhere else to go?" he stares at me hopefully.

"Well." I start "I have no where to go I don't remember anything."

"Well..." He puts his hands in his pocket and looks out the window. "Helping people is what we do. I mean, we all have had a bad past, but look us know."

I smile at him and finally feel like I can relax. Tonight I will with my new friends in a new home, however a small voice in my head keeps telling me I can't stay for too long.
