I don't like public transport. Stuck in a dirty bus or train with people squishing you and having to push your way out.

Finally it is our stop and I push past people to get to the door before turning to Bridget.

"Let's go." I yell.

"Stop! " She yells back.

I turn back around and I slam into a cyclops, I don't even have time to gather my thoughts before being thrown into a hedge. I get up, just enough to see Bridget grip her dagger and run towards the cyclops.

"She is doing great." I think. Until I see her jump to slow and get knocked into a pole, I gasp as she slumps down unconscious.

He turns and growls, "Leave mere mortal, you have see a girl trip and fall."

"No, I can see this. I saw you hurt her." I reply trying to think of a plan.

"I am the beast fear me." He roars and I start crawling away with my head down.

"FOUND YOU!" A booming voice says above me.

I get up to face it but a sudden flashback comes to me. I am in a room and a little girl about five is talking to a lady who looks in her thirty's and is wearing a fine dress with a cape draped over her shoulders. Some how the place seems to remind me of home.

"Come on Flame, I have a present for you." She says sitting down.
"Flame?" I think, "That is me."

"What is it?" 5 year old me says.

"Its a ring that will be there for any situation in which you are on a battlefield." the lady replies.

"Mum why will I need it?" the girls says taking the ring.

"Because sometimes I may not be there and you will need to step up when I am away. You will be queen and represent our biome."

Younger me stares at her in confusion then looks down at the ring. "Mum how does it work?"

"Well" My mother says, "Just think about what you want and it will come to you.

"Does Crystal have one?" Younger me asks.

"Yes for her 5th birthday."

"Thats not fair she gets one at a younger age  than me." The girl whines.

"Not everything is fair Flame."

"Your majesty the Gods of Olympus  have come, you must present yourself as queen of fire." A voice says from somewhere.

"I know, I know. I will see you later. "
She says turning to me and with that my mother picks up a crown from nearby and placed it on her head and walks out the room.

"Flame come play with me!" Another voice calls out from the shadows.

"Crystal I am coming."

"Crystal?" I turn to try to get a look at my sister, I forgot what she looks like. But it is to late the flashback starts fading around me.

"No. No!" I scream grabbing at the image of me holding the ring. But I am now back in reality and no time has passed.

"Mum? Queen? Fire?" I put  two and two together and realise that I am a princess, a queen like what my mother said. Confidence builds up in me and I glare at the Cyclops.

"Stupid mortal." The Cyclops snorts "You need to learn to stand down." He grows to the size of a 2 storey house.

"He may be big but he is slow." I think. A light bulb switches on in me and I turn towards him.

The Cyclops roars and starts charging towards me. I close my eyes and a whip forms in my hand replacing the ring and I swing it forward. The whip wraps around his leg and I pull back as hard as I can. He must have been surprised because it was surprisingly to get him to fall. On the floor he tries to get up but before he can get up I jump up onto him and in mid air my whip changes into a sword and I drive it down into his face. His roar dies fast and he explodes into a gold dust.

I crouch down and begin cleaning my sword, then Bridget comes up behind me.
"Well I didn't know you could do that."

"I guess I can." I say and my sword turns back into a ring on my finger.

"That is a nice ring where did you get it" she asks

"I am starting to remember, all the lectures my mother used to give about being a queen and representing our biome. I am always being sent out to get to know the world and go on missions but this time when I went here something happened but I don't know what." I say looking at her

"Let's just go to school." Bridget sighs, "We can tell the others there."
