"Did you see what I did to that harpie? I destroyed her." Alex yells jumping round in circles.
"Yeah sure you did." Bridget scoffs,
"Are you not forgetting that I had to hold her down?"
I laugh, those two was always arguing and yeah you heard right harpie that is what we do, we hunt down things that are out of the ordinary monsters, that are endangering us, humans.
Out of nowhere Alex's Monster Detector 30 starts beeping rapidly.
"Tell it to shut up!" Bridget yells covering her ears.
"I can't" Alex yells back, Panicking, he starts pressing buttons. " I don't understand, it isn't any thing we have faced before."
Bridget pulls out her dagger and stands ready. Something explodes behind us flinging everyone in different directions.
I landed on my back winded but I had to get up. Slowly I walk over to the crash site, only to see a girl lying in the middle. The fire from the crash looks like it is protecting her instead of burning her. She had flaming hair that was a ombre from red to orange and finally yellow, she was wearing a flowing red dress that spread around her.
"I don't get it." Alex said walking up slowly,
"It says she is the monster."
