it has already been a few days yet hyunjin still wouldn't talk to him, neither would he receive any calls or texts from him. changbin was just so lost and confused, he doesn't understand it at all.

it just doesn't make sense, he did nothing wrong. the two males were so close and on good terms, surely there was no particular reason why hyunjin was ignoring him like this. and what about the plan of hanging out with each other often?

especially when they haven't seen each other in a while, this would be a perfect opportunity to catch up and get even closer than before. but changbin can't even do that, because hyunjin has just constantly been avoiding them for no reason.

and changbin doesn't know why, for the explanation behind hyunjin's sudden, strange and unusual behaviour. if only he knows, if only someone could tell him why.

maybe he could fix it? so the taller wouldn't ignore him anymore. he'd thought at first hyunjin was probably having a bad day or angry with him, but it wasn't that. this was much more.

yet nothing came to his mind, neither of them know the real reason why.

changbin couldn't help but deeply sigh to himself, currently sitting at his desk while trying to study. no matter how hard he tried to concentrate, it was no use. he would just keep going back to the thoughts of hyunjin.

he was just so worried, did he do something? is this his wrongdoings? whatever it is, he just wanted hyunjin to confront him about it. so he can resolve it.

but how can he? when hyunjin is refusing to have any connection with him, pretending as if changbin never existed. as if he was just a stranger, a ghost.

"changbin?" he turned his head around to meet minho's eyes, who just came out of the bathroom. his voice sounded worried yet confused. "what's wrong?"

only placing his pen down on the desk, changbin sadly frowned at him. "hyunjin still isn't talking to me! did i do something wrong? why won't he tell me?" he frustratingly cried out, clear annoyance present on his expression.

this made minho blink slowly with slight disbelief, only walking over to him. "what? still?" he asked, also quite surprised.

after all, he imagined the two males would be so close. so this was quite surprising to hear. changbin nodded in response. "yes, still! did i do something wrong or what? i just don't understand why he's not talking to me anymore!" he exclaimed.

"that's quite weird," minho replied. "when you last spoke to him, did he look troubled by you? or was he acting normal?"

"normal." changbin said. "i'm telling you, the whole time, we were laughing and chatting like besties! we even agreed we would meet up often, but he just suddenly stopped texting me soon after that day."

as minho placed his fingers to his chin to think for a moment, he attempted to come up with possible reasons. for hyunjin's sudden change of behaviour. because knowing hyunjin, he doesn't suddenly do things without reasons.

so there has to be something off. something that they're not aware of.

this only made him place his hand on changbin's shoulder, his lips lifted into a warm smile in reassurance. changbin only looked up, full of confusion for a moment.

that was when minho opened his mouth moments ler, this making changbin widen his eyes in nothing but shock.

"don't worry, i'll speak to him."

"hyunjin, is it?" hyunjin alertly turned his head around to face the owner of the voice, his eyes staring at the unfamiliar male in confusion.
