Joe laid in bed next to George, the morning light pouring in through the balcony doors. George was cuddled up with his head resting on Joe's chest, his left arm slung around Joe's stomach and his right arm snaked under his back. The only thing of George's not lathered across Joe was his legs but they were still pressed up against his left leg. So when Joe woke up from searing pain from phantom pains he was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

George was a cake decorator at one of the most well known locally owned bakeries in all of Philly so it was rare that George got a day off. Usually booked with weddings or birthdays.

Joe let out a soft grunt wanting the blankets off of his stump.

Joe tried to gently kick the blankets off of him but George shifted and woke up.

"What's up Joey? Tryna' leave me already. You can go to the gym later." George smiled and tried to tug Joe back closer.

"I got phantom pains hun," Joe let out through grit teeth, his voice more raspy than usual. George shot right off of Joe and pulled the blankets off of them at that comment. George loved Joe's morning voice almost as much as he loved when Joe would moan out George's name. So he looked forward to their morning conversations. So it made George extra sad when Joe woke up in pain because he hated seeing him in pain.

Joe ran his fingers lightly down from his thigh to the end of his stump trying to relieve pain.

"Let me help," George leaned over and started to run his fingers down, adding a finger as it progressed. After about five minutes of doing what Joe had taught George to do all those years ago it went away.

"I'm going to go get some tylenol," Joe went to grab for his crutches.

"I'll get it for you," the light brown haired man jumped out of bed. He jogged to the bathroom attached to their room and grabbed the big bottle off of the tylenol George poured three into his hand and brought them back to Joe.

Joe put them in his mouth and grabbed his water cup off of the nightstand and took a long drink of the water.

"I'm sorry you have to deal with me," Joe looked down, shaking his head.

"Well there's no one out there better than you," George kissed his cheek and crawled over the king sized bed and sat cross legged in front of him.

"You deserve a whole man," Joe looked down at his lap, his leg and stump emerging through his boxers. Left over clothes from last nights little sex exchange.

"Then you deserve a real man. Not just a dude with a vag," George pursed his lips making Joe meet his gaze. Joe knew just as much as George about his struggles being trans. George had never been interested in getting bottom surgery. He had gotten his top surgery the summer after senior year of high school. Joe had been there everyday to help George in his recovery. They talked about George not being interested in a penis before they had gotten married. Joe had agreed he'd be perfectly okay with George whether that be no penis or with one.

"Don't talk about yourself like that," Joe grabbed George's hand and squeezed it.

"Then don't talk about yourself like that. I told you leg's weren't on the requirements table." George kissed Joe's knuckles, "You're everything I could want in a man."

"Well you're everything I could want in a man," Joe smiled and pulled George close and into him, "You're handsome, sweet, talented, you make some of the best food I've ever had."

George smirked as Joe nuzzled his head into George's neck.

"You're everything I could want," George turned his head and gave Joe a quick kiss, "Abs, humor, that hot voice you have."

Joe knew how much George loved his voice and how he could make George be wrapped around his finger.

Joe gently tugged George's shirt off and ran his fingers down his surgery scars. George had gotten winding vines tattooed over the thin lightening scars under his pecks. The vines leading up into blossoming flowers on his sternum. Joe traced George's body gently.

"You're so perfect Georgie," Joe whispered into the crook of his neck and began to kiss his jawbone.

George giggled and kissed Joe, "I'm going to make breakfast we can talk about sex later." George shook his head and crawled out of bed. Joe smiled to himself as George walked out of the bedroom, his hips swaying.
