I returned to the top of the ship, going to find Ikeda. I messaged him on the school app, and he told me he was by the pool.
"The girls made him go swimming, huh...?"
I sighed. I don't particularly want to play Vanguard near the pool since my cards could get wet, but it'd also be a hassle to make him leave where he is and find me instead.
I guess I'll go meet him. I sent him a message saying I'd be there in about twenty minutes, since first I wanted to go eat some food from the restaurant.
"...this is some serious fine dining, huh?"
Just glancing at the menu outside the restaurant, it was completely stuffed to the brim with expensive and upper class food like caviar and foie gras.
There was nothing like junk food or comfort food here. It was all stuff you'd expect A Class students to be eating on a daily.
Peering inside, all I could see were Stark White students, with a few Ultima Yellow ones, able to sit down and enjoy their meals. There was no sign of anyone from Megiddo Blue, Zoa Green, or Drachma Red at all.
It seems the school even has their way to locking out the lower class students from areas of the cruise ship with their absurd pricing... I think the most reasonable thing I could buy here was a caesar salad, but even then I could just make one at home.
"Sorry, excuse me."
"Oh... my bad."
While gazing at the restaurant, I had accidentally blocked others from going inside by standing right in front of the door. As I stepped to the side to let them through, I recognised the students who were going in.
It was Ryouta Hane, Masamoto Manabe, Ishima Tamaki, and Ishima Akihiro.
"Eh? Takanori, what the hell are you doing here?"
Noticing my presence, Akihiro called out to me. Likewise, the other three A Class students also looked at me.
"Oh, hello Takanori-san. Sorry, I didn't even notice you there." Ryouta laughed.
"Good morning." Masamoto said.
"Ah, you're the "Takanori" Aki-niisan is always talking about?! Thank you so much for taking care of Aki-niisan when he was in your class!"
Immediately, the sister Ishima ran up to me and clasped my hands with a cute smile. Akihiro looked away, scratching the back of his neck.
"...no problem."
"Alright, alright, enough of that."
Akihiro sighed, pulling the sister Ishima away from me. She pouted, looking at him.
"What? I was just thanking him for helping you out."
"Yeah, and I already did that! You don't need to speak on my behalf, Tamaki!"
"Eh? Knowing you, I thought you forgot."
"I remembered this time, I remembered!"
So this is what sibling bickering looks like... I can't relate, me and Rei have always had a good relationship.
"Are you guys coming in?"
Ryouta, still holding the door open for them, called out to the Ishima siblings. Akihiro and sister Ishima looked at him and nodded.
"Coming!"
As the sister Ishima ran inside, Akihiro lagged behind to have a quick word with me.
"You're one sneaky bastard, Takanori."
