I ended the call between me and Ryouta that had been going on for quite some time now.

Once Ryouta and Zyriot arrived, everyone went silent.

No one dared make a move.

We all gave each other shifty glances while standing in an irregular pentagon shape.

As the crass wind blew through us, the tension that crackled between everyone heightened.

Now that these two were here, the three of us were unable to show our true strength, let alone try to kill each other, lest we risk revealing the secrets of the Underworld to them.

Because of this stop gap, it seems things have calmed down a little. The next step was to wrap up these loose ends and put an end to Shimada's senseless plan once and for all.

The first person to make a move was Zyriot. Disregarding the mood in the air, he walked over to Nakajima who was crouching on the floor, and extended his hand.

"Rokurou."

Nakajima glanced up at him, before looking away with a guilty sigh.

"...Zyriot-san."

There was a glint of annoyance in Nakajima's eyes now that he had to seal his strength in order to keep up the appearance of an ordinary delinquent, especially after how close he was cutting it by having Zyriot walk in on him restraining Shimada.

As a delinquent, Nakajima wasn't known for his strength at all. He was best known for his crafty tactics, similar to Shigeru. As such, it should've been impossible for him to be able to get Shimada, the strongest 1st Year, in such a compromising position.

Doing something like that would certainly raise suspicion to his class leader that he might be holding back. If Zyriot were to dig deeper into it, Nakajima's past and connections might become unfurled, and he'd be in even greater trouble.

"Are you okay?"

Nakajima nodded and grabbed hold of Zyriot's hand, standing up with shaking legs. He was probably faking it to show that he had struggled against Shimada. Seeing such a ridiculous act, Shimada sniggered under his breath.

"Where are your glasses? Can you see properly?"

Ignoring the laugh, Zyriot was more concerned with his classmate's wellbeing. Nakajima nodded.

"Since we were going to do a lot of running around, I wore contacts."

A blatant lie. Nakajima had perfect vision. He only wore glasses as part of his disguise, and they had fake lenses in them.

In any case, this was my first time seeing how he acted around his classmates. I was surprised to see how shy he was around Zyriot. Did he not want to talk much of out fear of being found out? Or was he just being quiet for the sake of blending in?

"That's good. Do you have any injuries? You took quite a tumble."

Nakajima shook his head. Once again, Shimada snickered at Nakajima's docility. At this point, he was just doing it on purpose to look down on him.

Of course, being next to Zyriot, Nakajima was unable to react to Shimada's provocations. If he could, I bet he would glare at him.

However, it seems Zyriot was the one doing it in his place. Ryouta sweated a little seeing his teammate start conflict with the most trigger happy person in our year.

As he was about to reach his hand out to stop Zyriot from confronting Shimada, I stuck my hand out to signal that it was better to let this play out. Ryouta looked at me with a face of disagreement, like he didn't understand why it would be bad to intervene.
