We're making it out of 2023 with this one!

While I'm incredibly late, I did manage to keep my from the last Postscript saying we'd meet again last year. So, how have you been everyone? It's your unreliable and irresponsible bosslady author, Fox here!

Wow, this volume has been a long time in the making...

After such a strong start, certain... um, circumstances... have severely delayed the second half of the story, which is why it took so long to finish. My deepest apologies!

But now that this volume has finally concluded, we can swiftly move onto the real summer vacation arc! And I'm not going to hold back on this one!

If the ending wasn't already enough indication, once again extenuating circumstances will force Yuuto to be dragged around to do things he'd normally never do! And this time, it centres around a circle of new characters and some returning faces!

But that's not all! Because this is taking place in the summer of 2048, the Premium format has been reintroduced, meaning every cardfight in this volume will feature Strides, looping, and some high octane grade 2 gaming!

Now, why would I specifically point cardfighting in this story that barely does it?

Because there's going to be a tournament arc in Volume 5!

That's right, Vanguard is going to take the main stage in a good old fashioned tournament arc! It wouldn't be a Fox story if we didn't have a tournament in the summer, right?

But don't you worry! There's also going to be tons of heart racing action, tons of bikini babe fanservice, and tons of romance that you've never seen before! So strap in and put on your seatbelt, because I'm going to bring you on one hell of a ride!

Now, that's enough about the story. It's time to give my thanks!

First of all, well done to me, myself, and I, for painstakingly creating even more illustrations for this volume!

Despite it being a volume filled to the brim with ugly old men, two of my favourite female illustrations are also in here— swimsuit Kurosaki and summer Rukia!

Gosh, they look so beautiful... past me, what sort of black magic did you use to do this?! I didn't know I could be so infatuated with my own drawings! They're seriously really, really, really good!

For once, I can congratulate you on a job well done!

Second of all, thank you to my Assistant-kun KRX350 for continuing to support me behind-the-scenes! Look, I just barely made the deadline! Are you proud of me yet?!

Third of all, thank you to my colourist C_Iqumashi for bringing the cover and frontispiece to life with her gorgeous palette! When I saw how pretty Nora's skin looked, it was love at first sight!

And finally, but most importantly, thank you. The reader. For sticking by this mess of a story for another year.
