—Wednesday—
"Babe? Grocery bibili ako today. May ipapabili ka?" Tanong ni Iza kay Leni habang hinahanap ang grocery eco bag sa kabinet ng kusina. It became Iza's routine to do grocery every Wednesday nagkataon naman na si Leni nasa bahay.
Leni's doing the work from home readings about the NGO's contracts and other passed folders of local businesses that needs assistance to go global on her laptop. She sat at the sofa which still gave her a view of the kitchen where she had a sight of Iza who already found the bags.
"Have you check the google docs?" Leni asked Iza while opening an tab for it. To double check if she had something to buy or wanted to buy.
"I did and konti lang naman yung kailangan mo." Iza checked while sitting beside Leni.
"Pagdra-drive nalang kita, b. Sama ako sayo para malaman ko kung may kailangan pa ako dun." Leni suggested which made Iza give her a questioning/ worried look.
"No, no you have work. That's important at baka may makakita sayo dun babe."
"Importante ka rin naman. Come on B, minsan nalang ako sumama give me a chance naman na bumawi sayo."
Iza bit her lip to conceal her kilig, it was just recent when Leni became more open about what she felt for Iza.
"Okay fine! Lumalambing ka babe ah, i likeyy." Iza then peaked a kiss at Leni's lip which she reciprocated.
"Nga pala Babe.." Iza continued to talk.
"Yes, b?"
"Diba your friends with Senator Risa?" Iza asked while kissing Leni's cheek.
"Uhm.. *nods her head* why?"
"There's this charity event this Thursday speaker kasi siya babe eh.'
"Oh... That seems fun."
"Yes! Im excited to see her, babe! She's so pretty 'no?" Papuri naman ni Iza kaya napatingin uli si Leni sakanya.
'am i hearing this right?'
Hindi sumagot si Leni.
"Hello? don't you think so babe?" Iza waved her hand infront of Leni's face to catch her attention.
Leni simply nodded to stop the conversation around Risa.
"Im really looking forward to meet her. How she inspires me." Paamin ni Iza. It was the first time that she heard this from her girlfriend.
"Baka ipalit mo ako dun ah. Wag ka nalang pumunta dito ka nalang."
"Selosa ka talaga. Alam mo hinding-hindi kita ipapalit dun kasi pagkakaalam ko she's straight. She likes men."
"It sounds as if pag may chance ka you'll take it."
"Mas mahal naman kita, nagandahan lang ako dun sa tao."
"Oo nga maganda, magandang-maganda." Hindi napansin ni Leni na sinabi niya yun kaya nagulat siya.
"Pero mas maganda ka kaya mahal na mahal kita eh. Alagang alaga mo pa ko." Pambawi nito which made Iza smirk.
"Dami mo nang sinasabi baka ikaw pala may gusto dun." Iza playfully said which made it awkward for Leni.
