Simone is frozen at the door. She has a lot of thoughts on what to say in the moment but none of those words seem to come out. "Can we talk?" Dane says. Simone doesn't respond still taken aback at his unexpected visit. "Simone?" He says trying to get her attention. "Wh... What are you doing here Dane? "I just wanna talk about our son." He says moving closer into the apartment and closer to Simone.
"Hey babe does this shirt look good?l Jordan says walking towards the door himself but then he sees Dane and his smile drops to a look of disgust. "You have some nerve showing up to my house asshole." Jordan says, now standing next to Simone. "I'm not looking for trouble I just wanna talk about my kid." Dane says.
"Your kid? You mean the kid who's life you refused to be in? He's almost 4 and now you wanna show up? I suggest you get your sorry ass away from our home and never come back." Jordan says clearly pissed at Dane's audacity to even think he could show up to where they live.
"With all due respect Jordan this has nothing to do with you. This is between me and Simone." Dane says in a snarky tone. "I'm gonna say this one more time and that's it. Get the fuck away from here Dane." Jordan says getting angrier the longer Dane is in his face.
Dane looks towards Simone. "He's right. You need to leave." She tells him. Dane takes a deep breath. "I'll be calling you Simone. He walks away from the door and gets on the elevator. Jordan slams the door. "What the fuck was he thinking?" Jordan says pissed. "You okay?" He asks Simone. "I'm fine. Let's just go get Shay." Simone grabs her bag and heads out the door.
Back at Spencer and Liv's they have unexpected visitors of their own.
"Layla... Asher?" Liv says extremely confused at the site of people her and Spencer haven't spoken to in years. "We'll Ash and I are moving back to Cali and we missed you guys! So ta da!!" Layla says excitedly. "How did you even know where we live?" Olivia says still very confused. "Your mom." Asher says. "So can we come in?" Layla asks still smiling. "Um... give me a second."
Liv shuts the door and goes in the room to Spencer. "Layla and Asher are at our front door and wanna come in." She says frantically. "What?" He responds just as confused as she is. "What do you want me to tell them?" She says. "Hell no." He responds immediately. "Well you ain't gotta say it like that but... hell no." he continues. "I'll get them to leave." She says and rushes back to the door.
"Um so we're still getting unpacked and all moved in so now isn't the time. Sorry maybe another day." Liv tells them. Layla and Asher both look at each other as if they're confused. "Is Spencer still holding that grudge from college cause it's time to be mature and" "Asher before some dumb shit comes out your mouth I suggest you stop yourself now and walk your ass off our property." Liv says cutting his sentence off and folding her arms. "Liv I-"
"Liv my ass just go." She says cutting him off once again.
Layla looks at Liv as if she wants to make a snide remark. "You know what babe let's just go. Clearly we aren't welcome." Asher grabs Layla's hand and get in their car. Liv slams the door and heads back towards Spencer.
"They have some nerve." Liv says. "I was kinda peeking out the door and was gonna jump in but you seemed to have it handled." Spencer says. "Yeah and they deserved every word. Ruined my day." Spencer walks towards Liv and pulls her close. "Don't let them stop your shine baby. We have an amazing new home. Our wedding anniversary is almost here and your career is flourishing." He caresses her cheek and she gives him a small smile.
"You're right. Fuck them." She says sighing. He smiles and gives her a cute double kiss. "You know my back does kinda hurt... why don't we take a bath?" She says and returns his double kiss. "I'll go start the water." He says and kisses her one more time before heading towards the bathroom. She smiles and runs behind him.
Later Simone, Jordan and Shay are in the car on their way back from the zoo.
"Babe you sure that everything is fine?" Jordan asks. Simone (without responding) pulls over and rests her head on the steering wheel. She looks back and sees Shay is asleep. "What the hell is he doing back? Life was peaceful and now here he comes with whatever it is he wants with Shay. I don't need this right now." "Babe listen, whatever it is he won't interrupt our peace." He grabs her hand and they look at each other.
It's crazy that with just a look Jordan can make her feel safe and know that it'll all work out in the end. "Thank you." She says kissing his hand. "Always." he replies returning the hand kiss. "Ewww" Shay says from the backseat. The couple and the little one begin to laugh.
That night Spencer and Olivia are now ready for bed and laying together with Spencer holding Liv as she types on her laptop and he sends a few text messages.
"What are you typing up?" He asks putting his phone on the other side of the bed. "Just some plans for this week's podcast episode. Annnd done!" Spencer closes the laptop and moves it to the side with his phone. "You know I love you right?" He says kissing her cheek. "You know I love you too?" She replies caressing his cheek as they both smile. They look up at each other and kiss for quite awhile. "You know we both have early mornings right?" She says breaking the kiss. "Don't worry when we're done I'll have you asleep right on time." He responds smirking. "Oh really?" She says smiling back. He responds with a quick yeah and the two continue to kiss and slowly move under the sheets.
