Spelivia/Jimone: I Got You

Remember You

Late afternoon about a week later Spencer and Olivia have just made it home from Tina's funeral.

Spencer puts his suit jacket away and comes downstairs to see Olivia sitting on the couch looking at their new ultrasound photos. "You good?" Spencer asks sitting next to Olivia on the couch. "It just doesn't feel right being happy while someone we love is going through one of the worst things possible." Olivia says sitting the picture on the table and looking up at Spencer. "Ya know I was kinda thinking that too. But I think it's okay to be happy about this and also feel for Simone." Spencer says picking the photo up himself. "We really have 2 babies on the way." She says with a smile. "We do." Spencer responds with a kiss following.

The next day Jordan is working on the nursery while Simone is at her dad's.

Jordan is finishing up the crib when Liv walks in the room. "Hey! How'd you get in?" He asks his sister. "You do know I used to live here to right?" She says holding up her key. "Shit. It's been a long few days." He says taking a deep breath. "How's Simone?" Olivia asks concerned. "She says she's fine but it hasn't been that long so I don't know how true that is. I wanna be here for her as much I can... I just don't know if I'm doing enough." He says feeling a little disappointed in himself.

"Hey don't beat yourself up. This is something heavy. I'm not sure there's anyone who can fully heal from losing a parent. Just do your best. Talk to her. Where is she now?" Liv asks folding her arms. "She's at her dad's helping him go through her mom's things. She said I should stay here." Jordan says putting a teddy bear in the crib. "Well when she gets back just talk to her. She knows you love her and that you'll always be here. She'll open up." Liv says reassuring her brother. "Thanks Liv." Jordan pulls his sister in for a hug.

Meanwhile at Simone's dad's house.

"So you're really moving?" Simone asks her dad who's putting things in boxes. "I don't see the point in keeping the house if it's just me." Robert says in a sad tone. "You don't have to be alone in an apartment. Jordan and I would let you stay with us." Simone says as she puts one of her mother's shirts in the donation box. "It's fine Simone." Simone can hear the pain in her father's voice every time he speaks which makes her contemplate asking her next question but it's a question she needs answered.

"Why did you keep it from me for so long?" Simone asks in a shaky voice with tears filling her eyes. "We really didn't want to worry you. We were gonna tell you after the vow renewal but then we found out you were pregnant and... it just wasn't the time." Robert says walking over to his daughter. "She was doing better and we didn't think we'd get to this point but now-" Robert is cut off by his own emotions and Simone pulls him in for a hug as he cries on her shoulder. Simone holds back her own emotions.

After helping her dad Simone arrives back home to see Jordan sitting on the couch and joins him.

"Hey..." she says seeing an odd look on his face. "We need to talk." Jordan says grabbing Simone's hand. "I wanna be here for you. I won't you to know that you can tell me every emotion you're feeling and I'll be right here to listen." He says caressing her cheek as he sees her eyes tear up. "I just wish I had more time... all of this was just so fast. Too much at once. I feel bad I didn't visit more or call more. I know I didn't know she was sick but a part of me still feels guilty." Simone says as tears fall.

"Come here." Simone rests her head on Jordan's shoulder and cries as he holds her. He kisses her on the forehead and she clenches his hand as a way of saying "Thank you for being here." The two talk as the night goes on and fall asleep in each other's arms on the couch.
