wen junhui, who is a openly gay man is in love with xu minghao, one of the most popular kids in school and one of the only other chinese boys.

only problem is, hes straight and has a girlfriend. not to mention minghao is the same guy who almost killed him.

you would've thought after having a near death experience, he would've stopped loving minghao. and honestly, at first, he did hate minghao. but for some reason, he couldn't find it in him to keep hating him.

xu minghao is known for being a bitch to everybody if they piss him off. that's why most people don't talk to him or get in his way.

junhui had to learn that the hard way.

minghao didn't know he was a bitch, actually, he didn't even know why people thought he was or why they avoided him. you beat up one kid so badly theyre hospitalized and then every body avoids you. what's the logic in that?

the only friend minghao has is kim mingyu. hes also friends with yoon jeonghan, but he isn't as close to him. not to mention that jeonghan has a boyfriend, choi seungcheol. which was absolutely disgusting in minghaos perspective.

minghao thought gay people were disgusting, he didn't understand how two men could love eachother and be attracted to eachother. what is there to like?

him and mingyu go way back, all the way from when they were just little kids, minghao assumes that's why mingyu didn't run away and ditch minghao when he hospitalized that kid.

who was he again? oh, right, wen junhui. the kid just freaked him out, not to mention he was always staring at him with his big eyes. it bothered him and one day, he had enough junhui and just lost it. he beat him so hard he was knocked unconscious.

junhui has been in love with minghao practically the entirety of middle school and high school. and so, one day while he was talking to his friend, he built the courage to go talk to minghao.

"hey, minghao," junhui said, walking up to minghao who was seated with his friends.

"uh," minghao started, looking around at the table to his friends, "what do you want?"

"um.. i was just.. wondering if we could be friends? you seem really cool and-"

"no. i would never associate myself with someone like you." minghao said, getting up from his seat and pushing junhui away.

"what? what do you mean "someone like me"?"

"don't act fucking stupid. i notice you staring at me in the halls, and in class, it's fucking embarassing. why are you so obsessed with me?!" minghao yelled, catching the attention of all the other students in the yard.

"i.. i'm sorry minghao i didn't-" junhui started, his sentence was cut short because of a strong and quick punch to his face which knocked him over.

junhui fell down and grabbed his face, he watched as minghao got on top of him, "i don't like you. i'm not gay, junhui." minghao said before grabbing junhui's collar and slamming him into the concrete multiple times until junhui's head started bleeding.

"get the teachers!" a boy—assumingly junhui's friend—yelled, minghao watched as people stared at him in horror and run to junhui's aid.

"maybe that'll get his gay ass off my back," minghao said, getting up from on top of junhui and stretching his arms while walking away.

jeon wonwoo watched in terror as he watched the whole scene unfold, and honestly, he felt like it was his fault. he was just trying to be an encouraging friend, and then he saw his friend almost die with his own two eyes.
