"I GUESS THIS IS IT RIGHT? THE GAME"

you heard sukuna say behind you. you didn't know how but somehow you managed to get your clothes on before the whole team reached the locker room, leaving fast through the back door where sukuna was right now.

"yeah," your face contorted in a sad expression, because it didn't matter what you would do from now on, this experience would still linger in your mind for the rest of your life. "do i still have to choose between all of you?" sukuna hummed in response.

"you do baby. it was your idea after all" he was right, you were the one that proposed the game in the first place. you nodded back at him,"well, see you then" as you were about to part ways, sukuna grabbed your wrist, turning your body completely. you gasped in surprise, what gave him the opportunity to push his lips against yours in a short and sweet kiss.

"had to get a goodbye kiss, princess" you flushed at this, a big smirk plastered on his face. you turned your body again making your way to the inside of the gym, where probably megumi was still waiting for you. as you approached the big doors, nervousness spread inside your whole body. you were about to express your feelings to megumi, your best friend. you didn't know how he would react, would he reciprocate your feelings? would he reject you and never talk to you again? or maybe he would act like nothing happened?

you distracted yourself on the phone, messaging him about where he was sitting before you crashed against a tall body. "you don't look ... okay?" your eyes looked up from a slim chest and landed on two black buns. when your eyes met his, choso's cheeks turned pink, hand itching to brush the few strands of hair that shadowed your pretty face. "that's all your brother's fault" you half chuckled.

"yuuji?" he asked with a tilt of his head. "no, not that brother. the game ended today choso" he just nodded, blush deepening. "uh, yeah, he was the last one i suppose" you were about to ask if he was okay when a thin but strong arm circled your shoulders. the smell of fresh apples filtered through your nostrils. there was only one person you knew that used apple scented shampoo.

"what are you doing babes? enchanting your spanish professor to give you a better grade?" maki said with a smirk. even if you hadn't seen her for the longest time, you kept updating her with everything that happened on the game. and honestly, she was as invested on it as she was with that cheap kdrama she was obsessed with.

at her words, choso's blush deepened even more if possible, traveling all the way down his neck. 'cute' you thought. "god no, i was just telling her bout uhm, yeah, that thing about her last exam. that's it, yeah" it didn't matter how good choso was at lying, she already knew everything.

"oh yeah, did she excelled her exam? might as well give her a reward after all, right mommy?" both choso and your eyes widened in shock while maki smirked triumphantly. the tall man almost choked in his spit, coughing hard. "the training is starting soon, why don't we go inside already maki?" you said through gritted teeth, pinching her side. maki flinched but nodded anyway.

once inside the gym, you whispered yelled at the girl "what the fuck were you thinking! they don't know that you know, thank god he didn't have time to say anything" you sighed and the girl laughed. "it finished today though, the game" maki stared at you before looking for a place to sit. "finally. i couldn't stand not being able to see you everyday. don't get me wrong, i'm happy you got some dick, is just that i missed you"

you cleaned the fake tears away before cooing at her, "aww, did you miss me that much? come here babes" maki rolled her eyes and chuckled before hugging you. if she knew how much you missed her and the guys too. you would've met with them everyday if all the men hadn't left visible marks all over your body.

"i'm confessing today too, you know?" your change of topic caused maki's body to stiffen. she looked down at you through her glasses "to whom exactly?" you sighed and embarrassed, diverted your gaze to the basketball team finding yuuji laughing with a black haired boy. "megumi"

maki didn't respond right away, nor did she relaxed against you. you turned your head again to her finding her lips in a tight line. after what felt like years she answered back "look y/n, i'm happy that you finally realized your feelings for megumi. it was pretty obvious, from both parts." she paused, "i just wish you did it before all this mess started. before you shagged his dad and his uncle. i know i encouraged you to do it but after giving it some thought, i find it a bit ... risky?"

maki was right, you didn't realize that in fact you had sex with two of his relatives, most specifically his dad and his uncle. jesus christ, what were you thinking? your eyes began to water but the tears didn't have the time to fall when your phone began to ring and the boy's contact appeared on your screen.

"megumi?" the other side of the line fell silent, only the sound of some sniffing and sobbing coming out of it. "megumi, are you alright? where are you?" dread filled your body, eyes moving fast while looking for your black spiky haired friend.

"sorry, i'm not going to the training. i, uh ... i think i caught the flu or something."

"are you okay? do you need medicine? food? is there something i can bring you?" your tone sounded worried and megumi cursed under his breath. he didn't want to see you right now, he was hurt and crying and lying on his bed with a panda plushie you gifted him on his last birthday. it still smelled like you, it smelled like something familiar, like something he wanted to smell like too.

megumi sighed and decided that he needed answers, and he needed them from you.

"can you bring some spicy ramen please? from the cafeteria"

"of course! i'll be there in a bit. are you sure you don't need anything else?" you asked again, trying to make sure that he had everything he needed.

"just you and the ramen, please"

your heart fluttered at his words and without saying anything back to maki, you walked out of the gym. none of those previous negative thoughts clouded your mind now, your only goal was megumi and his well-being.
