i'm reeling in my brain again
before it can get back to you
oh what am i supposed to do
without you?

Lana looked over at Wanda, who looked desperate yet completely warn out.

Wanda had managed to push a few men away but not for long.

"I'm sorry.." Wanda whispered, completely defeated by these figments of her past.

"No, no we're not giving up." Lana said, she knew Wanda wouldn't like this, she'd hate her for this.

"I have an idea."

Wanda looked at her with a small glimmer of hope in her eyes.

Lana gazed at Wanda for a moment, completely silent, looking almost scared.

Wanda immediately went over to the girl, Lana holding her hands with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I love you so much." She paused. "But you have to do this."

"Do what?"

She took a deep breath. "Wanda, if you destroy the chip in my brain, it will make them so much weaker-"

"No, stop." Wanda interrupted fiercely, shaking her head. "I'm not doing that."

"Wanda, please- you have to do this for everyone else's safety it's the only way." Lana said slowly losing her energy, she kissed Wanda's hand, placing it on the side of her own cheek.

"No..I can't" She whispered.

"You could never hurt me. I just feel you." Lana said, with a slight smile on her face trying to make Wanda feel better as the impending doom and last moments on earth seeped through her chest and thoughts.

Wanda saw the pain she was in, yet she couldn't lose her right after getting her back, she had denial that the idea was ever an option, it couldn't be an option.

Tears heavily filled her eyes, spilling out continuously.

The two saw more agents running in, now with an unimaginable amount of power while Lana suffered without any.

Wanda looked at the girl knelt in front of her, her eyes was sad but she smiled softly, nodding at Wanda as if she was giving her permission.

The witch screwed her face up while the tears ran down her cheeks, more and more progressively dampening her face.

She couldn't bare to live without her love, but now she had to.

At that moment, while the red beam released from her palm, every memory played in her head.

It had always been Lana, it was always going to be Lana, she didn't want to have to imagine a world without her.

"I love you." Lana whispered with any life left in her.

Behind Wanda stood Lana's trainer, she turned around to face him with a devastated expression, yet he didn't care, he needed Lana alive for his own benefit.

Wanda then reached out her other arm, pointing it at the man and she started to beam her red energy at him at the same time.

She looked back at Lana, who was close to dead and Wanda felt nauseous at the sight, sobbing uncontrollably as the red light reflected how sinister she felt she had become.

The grief and suffering brought a great strength to Wanda, like the night Pietro died. Lana's trainer felt himself become weaker, soon falling to the ground in defeat, his spirit leaving his body. He was dead, after these years they had won, so why did
she still have to feel this way? Like she had nothing left?

It was because Lana was the only person left that Wanda really loved, and now Lana was gone.

The brunette girls eyes closed slowly, as she took her last breathes.

The red light stopped, all guards became weak and frail, now they were especially easy to defeat which the avengers tended to straight away. Yet all Wanda could think about was Lana.

She went to the girls body, seeing it with nothing, there was nothing left.

She sobbed into the bodies chest, screaming out, she wanted to undo it this wasn't fair.

They were all shocked and devastated, slowly stepping closer to the scene.

Clint put a hand on Wanda's back, rubbing it in a circular motion, everyone had tears in their eyes.

Tony walked up to the girls body, putting his hand on her forehead and stroking her hair softly. "Oh, kid." He whispered to her.

Wanda looked up with an exhausted look at her face. "She was my person." She said to Clint in particular, still sobbing endlessly.

"Shh, we know.." Clint assured quietly. "She loved you so much." He said, placing a kiss on her head.

"She was my person." She repeated, barely being able to breathe through the tears.
