Chapter 6: I feel so stupid now

Eddie and Robin were fighting again

"ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF?" Robin yelled 

"NO! I WOULD NEVER DO- wait a minute" Eddie paused

"Spit it out genius!!" Robin softly slapped Eddie on the head

"Fuck you Robin" Eddie stopped and stared at her "And he might've taken something way out of context"

"Oh shit" Robin's jaw dropped "You were planning something for his birthday" 

"Shhhh" Eddie quietly said

"That poor boy, he isn't very smart" Robin laughed

"No because I'm actually dating an idiot" Eddie shook his head

"Well go talk to him!" Robin encouraged

"What do I say" Eddie asked "Please don't slap or yell at me for asking that"

"No, I got over it quickly. But just say you are planning something for his birthday but it's a surprise! I mean I forgave you and that's some shit right there. I wouldn't let you near Steve if you hurt him in any way!" Robin smiled

"Okay, thanks" Eddie smiled as he made his way into the back room

Steve saw him and turned his head "Go away Eddie" 

"Look Steve, I care for you so much and I would never even think of doing something to break your heart! What did I do?" Eddie rubbed Steve's shoulder

"What were you doing this morning?" Steve cried while still refusing to even look in Eddie's direction

"Steve" Eddie laughed "I was planning something for your birthday, I can't tell you because it's a surprise and I can't tell you who it was because that would also give it away"

"Oh" Steve shut his eyes and rubbed his face "I feel so stupid now"

"Doesn't mean I think differently of you" Eddie brought Steve into a hug. It wasn't one of those uncomfortable hugs where you don't know when to stop but a hug where you didn't want to stop. 

Robin obviously knew they made up, of course they would. But she didn't want to bug them so she knew she would have to work alone for a bit, but that didn't matter if she knew her best friend was happy again.

"You're so cute" Eddie whispered in Steve's ear

Steve laughed "I have to go back to work"

"Do you HAVE TO" Eddie whined

"Yes, I can't leave Robin for the 50th time" Steve smiled "and 95% of the times has been because of you"

"Fine" Eddie frowned

They walked out of the backroom and Robin turned with a smile

"So you guys made up and figured out you are two idiots dating each other?" 

"Shut up Robin" Eddie glared

"I'm going to go clean my face in the bathroom so stick around for a minute Eddie" Steve smiled as he walked into the bathroom

Steve couldn't hear them well, only muffled talking. He felt so stupid but also he realized how Eddie didn't make him feel bad about it "I love him so much" Steve thought himself but he couldn't say it. Neither of them have admitted to those kind of feelings even though they both obviously have them.

 Steve looked better, still a little red but better so he went back out to the main room

"All cleaned up?" Eddie smiled as he looked at Steve
