Chapter 5: Well are you stupid!?

It was about a month later, Steve and Eddie had been going strong. Steve wasn't at his house much, he didn't like his parents. He practically lived at Eddie's trailer, all his stuff was there and he went straight there after work, stayed the night, and then went to work from his house. Robin finally built up the courage to ask out Vickie after she found out Steve was the one who made a move on Eddie. None of the kids knew, but Nancy guessed and then told Jonathon. It was a day off for Steve so he was with Eddie on his couch watching Nightmare on Elm Street.

"SHIT" Steve screamed at the movie as he jumped into Eddie's arms

"You alright hon" Eddie laughed while wrapping his arms around Steve

"Yeah, just got startled" Steve smiled as he looked up at Eddie. He still couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that they were dating. Not only because Eddie was so damn hot but because it was the last person he thought he would date. But he was so happy.

A loud knock at the door startled Steve and he jumped again. Eddie laughed as he walked over to the door. Once he opened it he saw El, she was looking around nervously.

"Eleven? Are you okay? And what are you doing here?" Eddie asked concernedly

"Please let me in... Eddie" El said with urgency

"Okay...? come in" Eddie gave a confused face while opening the door up more for her.

El walked in and sat down on a chair. She looked nervous as he was trying to calm herself down a bit.

"Um are you alright?" Eddie asked, he didn't really know El and she probably only knew where he lived because of Max.

"I don't know what to do" El said, not making eye contact with them but rather staring down at her pants

"Okay... To do about what?"" Steve asked with a confused face

"I think I like Max" El spit out while staring at the floor.

"Really?" Eddie asked 

"What?" Steve said right after Eddie

"Well, when Mike broke up with me I was really sad about it. I don't care that Mike and Will are dating, he obviously stopped loving me but then I saw Max in this different way. But she's dating Lucas and I don't know what to do! I just learned about all this... stuff" Eleven whined

"El, its okay" Steve smiled as he walked over to her "look if you have these feelings then I say go for it! Lucas will have to figure out his own shit if Max feels the same"

"But what if she doesn't! Then that's going to be... weird" El started to get teary eyed

"If I learned one thing, shooting your shot is one of the best things you can do!" Steve turned to Eddie to get the okay. Once he nodded he began to speak again.

"Look it worked out for me great, I'm super happy now!" Steve smiled

"Your dating another girl...?" El asked

"No, a guy" Steve corrected her

El looked up and looked at Steve, then Eddie. "You guys are... dating?" 

"Yeah! But your the first one of all the kids that we've told so don't go around telling all the little minions okay?" Eddie smiled and let out a small laugh

"Okay. I think I'll tell Max I like her" El smiled

"That's amazing. I'm so proud of you" Steve smiled and brought El into a hug. He wasn't as close with El but he still cared for her a lot.

Eleven left and went across the way to Max's trailer. Eddie and Steve turned off the movie and went to bed. They got into PJs and brushed their teeth, Steve got on the right side of the bed and turned off the lamp. Eddie got into bed also, turned off the light then kissed Steve on the cheek.
