Everyone gathers around the kitchen table.
"It's grown." Hopper says. "A lot, and I mean the place is crawling with those dogs."
"Demo dogs." Dustin says.
"Excuse me what?" Hopper asks.
"I said uh, demo dogs." Dustin says. "Like Demogorgon and dogs. Like you put them together, it sounds pretty badass." Dustin says.
"How is this important right now?" Hopper asks.
"It's not, I'm sorry." Dustin says.
"I can do it." El says.
"You're not hearing me." Hopper says.
"I'm hearing you." El says. "I can do it."
"Even if El can, there's still another problem, if the brain dies, the body dies." Mike says. "If El closes the gate and kills the mind flayers army,"
"Will's apart of that army." Lucas says.
"He likes it cold." Joyce says.
A few minutes later, Joyce, Johnathan, Nancy, and sedated Will go outside to their car and drive away.
"El, I'm coming with you." Thirteen says.
"No Thee. It's too dangerous." El says.
"El, who is going to keep the demo-dogs busy?" Thee asks. "They will be everywhere!"
"Thee, I said no." El says. "I'm not losing my sister."
"Neither am I." Thee says. "I'm coming with no matter what."
El sighs. "Ok. Fine."
Thirteen walks into the living room and grabs Steve's hoodie that she kept. She puts it on.
"Thee, please don't go." Steve says.
"Steve, I have to help El." Thirteen says.
"Then I'm coming. I'm not letting you get hurt." Steve says.
"Steve, no. It is way too dangerous. You have to stay with the kids anyway." Thirteen says. She starts to leave the room.
Steve grabs her wrist. "Wait." He says. Thirteen looks back.
"Don't get hurt. Please." Steve says. He hugs Thirteen. Thirteen hugs him back.
When they pull away, they look each other in the eyes. Steve's eyes glance down at Thee's lips and then he looks back into her eyes and he kisses her. Just a quick peck on the lips.
Thirteen stands there shocked for a moment. Her face gets all red and she looks down but then looks up at Steve again, grabs his neck gently with both hands, and kisses him back.
When they pull away, Steve holds onto Thirteen's wrist. "Take this." He says. He puts a blue bracelet with a silver charm that is shaped like an S on Thirteens wrist.
Thirteen hugs Steve. "Thank you." Steve smiles and hugs her back.
Hopper yells from the other room. "Come on Thee!"
"I better go." Thirteen says. Steve kisses her cheek.
"Don't get hurt." Steve says. "Be careful, super duper careful."
"I won't get hurt." Thirteen says. She kisses Steve's cheek and they both walk outside to the car.
Steve stands on the porch while Thirteen gets in the car with El and Hopper. He sadly smiles as they drive away.
