i finally arrived at school after a 20 minutes walk . some may say just take the bus but i say no because its a way for me to see Gods creation and i just love walking in the morning because is calming and quiet.
After i walked around school for a bit i noticed Tinashe walking up to me with a massive smile on her face . As she began getting closer to me i noticed her smile getting bright . why is she smiling so bright i thought to myself . as she finally reached me she began to talk .

"Faith , Isaiah just looked at me " she said jumping up and down

i began to laugh . Tinashe has had a crush on him since year 4 . but she's never had the courage to have a real long conversation . same with me though .

" go and talk to him " i said trying to convince her .

" no im scared and anyways we have maths next lets go " she said dragging me by the hand . i hate math like why would i want to find x like no .

its now lunch time and the lunch hall is full .
i never noticed this many people .
as me and Tinashe got our food we began to look for a table to sit at , but all the tables were full except one . the table only had two people , Isaiah and Elijah . i looked over and saw T looking tense . As we began to walk to their table , she followed along .

as we arrived at the table , we asked if we could sit here due to everywhere being full , they happily agreed .
the whole time me and Elijah where quiet but T and Isaiah talked for a while . i felt a gaze on me . as i lifted my head up i noticed was Elijah's gaze , his dark brown eyes matching mine like a puzzle . i just smiled which made him do the same , as we just looked at each other we ever noticed it was the end of lunch .

We was now in 6th period , which was history .
During that lesson our teacher said we will have a project and she would be choosing the pairs ,i was kinder nervous i don't know why i just am . As she began to read out the names she said mine .

" Faith you will be working with Elijah " said the teacher . i was speech less i was happy , i was nervous what if i make a fool of myself .

it was the end of the lesson and it was time to go home but Elijah wasn't going to his house he's going to mine.

After 20 minutes of walking we finally made it . As we entered the house i completely forgot to tell my mum i was bringing a guy over . How i 'm supposed to tell my AFRICAN MOTHER i 'm bringing a guy home oh well we best wait and see .

as me and Elijah kept looking around we noticed my mum as she smiled at me she saw Elijah .

" faith who is this " she said trying to be calm

" mum , this is Elijah we have a project and we got paired together " i said

she just smiled at me.

as she got up from her seat she said .

" your welcome anytime " she said but as she walked past me she whispered something in my ear .

" so is this the boy you like " she said with a smirk while leaving me and Elijah alone

how does she know but im not going to admit it because she can be a bit over the top .
