As I walked up to my door I began to think who could be at my bedroom door at this hour ? . As I opened the door i felt a familiar Gaze on me and I instantly knew who it was . It was Elijah.
"Elijah what are you doing here and how did you get in ?". I asked with curiosity
" Can I come in ?" He asked leaving me even more curious then before
As I let him in , he sat down at the side my bed and looking fine as ever . It's been 2 minutes of eye contact and I'm turning shy which isnt the usual so I might as well ask what he's doing here
" Are you going to answer my questions" I asked with a smile which he gave back making my smile bigger
" Your mum let me in and I have a question ."he asked . The last part it scaring me I don't know why .
"Okay what's the question" I asked
" Promise me if you say no we will still be friends " he asked , he's getting nervous
" I promise me and you will remain friends even if I say no " I stated causing him to chuckle a little
"I know we are just in year 9 but I want you to go prom with me . We've got 2 years left and I wouldn't want to go with anyone else ." He asked while rubbing he's neck and looking down at the ground with a smile
"Wait why me ?"I asked
" You're beautiful , you're kind , you're powerful and I see a future with you " he said holding eye contact . I just stay there frozen I want to believe the last part so badly but its just hard .
" Yes I will go with you " I said as I embrace him into a tight hug .
" Faith I got asked the other day. Who is my favourite person from school right now and I said you by far ". He said as he let go of me . After he let go I began to feel cold .his touch just makes me feel warm
"Thank you " I said while smile and bright as I can .
After that conversation Elijah left leaving me with a massive smile on my face which won't leave . I can't believe he asked me to prom like out of all people me .
