I've liked Elijah since year 6 . The way his smile just fills the room full of happiness and Hope . The way his waves just show endless love that head for people . The way his dark brown eyes just connect like a puzzle. He's kind , confident and passionate . When I look at those features of Elijah I see a great future a head of him . When I look into his dark brown eye and they just connect to my dark brown eyes I see a future , a future that I know won't happen because we both want two different things . He wants to be a footballer Andi want to be a surgeon and move to London.
We are in last period and I can't stop turning to my left because Elijah is right there. While I just admire Elijah I noticed Tinashe saying random things which I payed zero attention too .
As I'm deep into my thought I didn't even realize the bell had went of and it was time to go home . As I gather all my things I noticed a familiar Gaze on me It was Elijah . When he looks at me , my heart skips a beat everytime . It's either because he makes me nervous or its because his gaze is just so beautiful .
As I turn around to speak to him, I get caught up in his beauty . Our eyes just fit perfectly together , they are like a puzzle that fit perfectly together . After a few minutes of staring into his stunning eyes I began to speak to break the awkwardness .
" Hi Elijah " I said " Hey faith " he said rubbing the back of his neck .
" We best get going " I said about to head out " Yeah I'll walk you home ". He said as we Bagan to leave school
20 minutes later
After 20 minutes me and Elijah finally made it to my place .as I'm about to open the door my mum gets there before me . I know what shes up to .
" Hey Baby " my mum said as she gave me a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek
" Hi mama " I said in response
I look over and I see Elijah still there .
" Hello Elijah " she said as she embraces him in the tight hug
" Hello Mrs- Anashe " he said with a chuckle . Making all of us laugh
I hope she asks him to stay for dinner , I really do . " I best get going " he said it before he could leave my mum asked him the Question I've always wanted to hear .
" Would you like to stay for dinner " she asked

As Elijah began to think he looks over at me debating whether to stay or not.
" Yes please " he said making me and my mum smile with joys
" Excellent , I made Sadza and oxtail stew " she said as she practically dragged us inside
After we finished eating we said our goodbyes to Elijah and began to clean up . While cleaning my mum asked me if I like him . I know I can't get out of this one. So I might as well .
" Yes I do " i said as I turned my head away due to my shyness
My mum began to jump up and down with excitement .
" I knew it , I KNEW IT " She said rubbing it in my face
" Okay , okay I get it " I said kinda annoyed
" I hope you too have a wonderful future ." She said as she left the kitchen
