He still hasn't asked me to prom . He promised . He literally came into my home and asked me but now all of a sudden I'm nothing to him , he forget but I didn't . I'm now living with his guilt the same guilt that I thought he cared .

Prom is tomorrow and I don't have a date so I'm going to stay at home , eat ice cream and watch a bunch of movies .

As them words run through my mind , tears began to slide down my cheek , one by one , but as for that I received a text from Tinashe saying she's on her way .

As I see the message I get up to go to my bathroom to clean my self up and look like I haven't been crying . One thing I don't like is expressing my feelings especially with Tinashe I don't want her to think she's a bad friend , person , sister . I want her to feel like shes the person you can go to for any reason and I love her for that .

As I'm getting ready to leave the bathroom I see Tinashe sitting on my bed with a remote in her hand scrolling through Netflix .

If she doesn't pick Madea homecoming I'm going to cry . Again

"Hey " Tinashe said

"Hey sis " I said as I jumped on the bed

" Have u picked your prom dress yet " I asked while tears threatening to flow down

" No I'm waiting for us to go pick our prom dresses together " she said

But I don't have a date . He forgot

" Tinashe , he forgot I don't have a date " I said

After that her phone kept ringing . She ignored it until she picked it up . After I good 30 seconds on call she drags me out of my room , down the stairs , to outside and when I tell you I wash shocked I was shocked .

It was Elijah with Flowers and a teddy bear and flowers everywhere .

As I got closer he asked me a question

" Faith will you go prom with me ?" He asked with a nervous expression .

I didn't answer I just ran into his arm and gave him a massive hug and nodded .

" Thank you " was all he said .

He didn't forget , he did the complete opposite of it
