Brim: "Would you like to be my Girlfriend, [Y/N] [Y/l/N]?"

It came out of nowhere and so straight forward but it definitely made you smile like a big idiot. You jumped into his Arms and placed your forehead on his.

[Y/N]: "Hell yes!"

It's been 3 months since you accepted to be Brimstone's Girlfriend but it wasn't as you expected it to be. You had a few dates before he was sent out again. And each time he was sent away you worried like a total idiot. But each time he came back from these wars he changed, after just 3 months the Brimstone you started dating wasn't the Man you are dating currently.

The caring and loving Person you once loved was no more. Each time he came back you only saw the Leader of the War Team. His cold and bold side, you felt so alone and even after Brimstone's Best Friend tried to explain the situation brimstone was in. You understood Brimstone's situation and you gave him all the space he needed but not only did you gave up your happiness to Brimstone, you actually started losing yourself and the true meaning of love. But even now, 6 month after you started dating you lost yourself more then you could have ever imagined.

As you finished singing for the soldiers entertainment you instantly made your way to Brimstone, because it's been 6 months since you two started dating, you wanted to invite him over to a date. But as soon as you arrived at his room and knocked he opened it, the Aura he gave already told you that you weren't welcomed here.

Brim: "What is it, I'm busy [Y/N]. I have to go in a few hours"

You knew he was nervous and his body was as if he turned into Stone. But his cold eyes and his words scared you.

[Y/N]: "I-i'm sorry to bother you! I actually wanted to say congratulations to our 6 months!"

Your eyes were fixated on the ground, you were just way too scared to look him in the eyes. He hasn't said a word since you spoke. Was he angry? Annoyed? As you looked up, to face Brimstone, you were able to see the same expression he made when you said 'Yes' to his question. As he was about to say something he got interrupted, a soldier burst into the room, his face expression spoke for itself. Something happened, something bad happened.

Brim: "What is it, Soldier?"

The young soldier tried calming himself but no chance, as the soldier managed to calm himself he almost yelled the words.

Soldier: "Our camp is being attacked,Sir!"

As he spoke you were able to hear gun shots, a camp house near you even exploded. You looked over to Brimstone, you were sure he knew what to do or how to handle something but his face was showing that he was overwhelmed. But he knew he had to do something, he faced you, grabbing your shoulders with his hands and tried to speak as calm as possible just to not scare you.

Brim: "You need to leave immediately, we have to get at least you and the other women out of here. I cannot risk to loose you, not now, not ever! I am sorry that i was such a big idiot, sorry for ignoring you and not spending time with you. I love you!"

And after his "I love you" another bomb bombed near you. But this time it was closer then before. Brimstone told the soldier to escort me out of the battlefield. But you didn't want to leave him, he could die here and now and you couldn't even say "I love you, back". But there was no change of going back to Brimstone and so you were escorted with the other women out of the camp, as carefully as possible.

⊂Brimstone POV⊃

It's been hours maybe even days since he saw [Y/N]. Her scared but at the same time cute face made it hard for him to leave you. But even then, he knew it was the right decision. He was so afraid of losing you, he didn't want to risk it.
But he is exhausted and not only him, but his best friend, too. Shoulder on shoulder they fought against their enemies and their kill counter raised above everything you could have ever imagined.

Just after a month of fighting they finally won. It was finally over and even if its only been a month, it's been one hell of a month.
Brim and his Buddy walked passed the dead bodies of their comrades and enemies.
That scene was grotesque, but these two especially were used to this. It sounded horrendous but it's the truth.

Brim: "You think they-"

Before Brimstone could Finish his sentence his K interrupted him.

K: "Stop thinking that way. Of course they made it out. You worry too much"

Brim: "Of fucking course I'm worrying. What if she is dead?! I am worrying about her, because I fucking love her! With all my heart!"

After Brimstone's words the silence surrounded them again. But as soon as the silence started it also ended, because Brimstone's best Friend spoke up.

K: "You Motherfucker! 'With all your Heart'?! Are you fucking kidding me?? You ignored her after a month of dating! She tried spending time with your ugly ass and all she got was a cold shoulder. Even after your stupid behavior towards her, she never left your side, and i was stupid enough to tell her that you are just busy. And you know what she answered me in return?"

Brim: "...what...what did she say?"

K: "She nodded and told me she understands your fucking situation. For fucks sake, i cannot understand why she stayed. And even after 6months of getting a cold shoulder, after losing herself and the meaning of fucking love she still came up to you and wanted to wish you a happy fuck six months! You bastard, i swear to god! You broke her! You broke her heart! Tell me Liam Byrne, how fucking much you loved her. Tell me why you couldn't make time for her, even if it's only would be like a few minutes! Tell me how you are going to fix EVERYTHING that you broke in her heart these past months!"

Brimstone's face turned sad, was it the realization of what he did or the guilty feeling that broke him since the beginning of this war. He wasn't sure, but he knew that he fucked up, he lost the only person he loved for years. He not only lost you, he also broke you these past months.

Brim: "I..."
