The next morning, Alex arrived at Yoongi's around noon. She figured the guys should be ready to wake up by then. Byung-Ho had given her the code to Yoongi's door so she didn't have to knock and wait.
She walked in and could see them all sprawled on the living room floor still. She shook her head, they were going to be hurting when they woke up. She set to work on brewing fresh coffee, both hot and iced. Next, she set out hangover drinks for each of them on the counter. She tried to keep quiet as she searched Yoongi's kitchen for pans and utensils so she could start breakfast. They would be getting American style that morning, and if anyone complained she'd kick their butt out the door.
She set to frying the bacon and sausage patties first. She had one of her ear buds in so she could listen to music, but also be able to hear if the guys started waking up. As the smells filled the kitchen, each of them began stirring in the living room. As she set the eggs to cook, Jin came in first to see what she was making. He must have approved, because he nodded his head then grabbed one of the drinks on the counter to chug it. Next came Hobi and Jungkook. Both looked like they stuck their fingers in a light socket, their hair was everywhere and they only had one eye open.
Jungkook licked his lips when he saw the food, "This looks good." He downed his hangover drink, then took three into the living room for Namjoon, Tae and Jimin. He worked on waking them up while Alex finished cooking.
Hobi had come in to pour some iced coffee, and took a tentative sip. "Oh Alex, this is tasty!" He smiled at her with one of his charming smiles then set to work on getting plates and settings for the table.
Alex put covers over the eggs and meat, and finished making the toast for the final touch. She heard Tae yelling from the other room, "Please tell me you have strawberry jam!"
Alex laughed, "Of course, I brought it especially for you!" She placed everything on the table and told the guys they could all eat. She went back to make a cup of iced coffee and grabbed the last hangover drink from the counter then took them back to Yoongi's room to wake him up. She didn't care if they were all used to sleeping in till three in the afternoon. Today, she was in charge and they were all getting up together.
She slowly opened his door and tiptoed in. Holly looked up from where he had been laying next to Yoongi. She picked him up and fed him a treat she had brought with her, then sent him out the door to go beg for food from the guys. She turned back and saw Yoongi looking at her. He was on his side, his hair was a mess, and he had one eye open as he tried to wake up. He put his hand in the air and motioned for her to come over to he bed. She set the drinks on the nightstand then sat down on the bed next to him.
"Would you like to join the rest of the world out there and try the breakfast I made for you?"
He nodded his head and rubbed his eyes. Then in a slick move she didn't see coming, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her onto the bed against him so they were spooning. "We'll go out in a minute, just lay here with me first." He pulled her in close and buried his face in her hair. Whatever scent she used was light, but also warm with a hint of spice. It mixed with her shampoo that had a slight fruity scent to it. It filled his head and made him want to stay in bed with her all day.
Alex was afraid she would never want to get out of his bed. She was finally getting a taste of morning Yoongi, and the flavor was oh so good. She ran her hand down his forearm and linked her fingers with his when she reached his hand. She could quite possibly stay like this for eternity.
"Do I need to come back there and separate you two?" Jimin yelled from the kitchen.
Yoongi let out a sigh, "I guess that means we have to get up now." He threw the covers off while Alex stood up, and rolled out of bed to head to the kitchen. He sat down at the table and filled his plate with whatever Alex had made. She set down the drinks she had brought to his room for him. He gave her a small bow and chugged the first drink, then sipped the iced coffee.
Jungkook bowed his head and put his hands out palms up. "We want to thank HYBE for bringing this amazing woman into our lives, who took care of us when we should have been left out in the rain last night."
Yoongi was busy cutting his toast, "Well that's a bit overdramatic considering there was no rain."
Jimin covered his mouth while he snickered, "Ah, Yoongi hyung is back."
Yoongi looked over at him and rolled his eyes then took a bite of his eggs and bacon.
"Good?" Alex looked to see if everyone survived her cooking. Yoongi rubbed his stomach while he chewed and nodded his head. Jungkook was on his third helping so she figured that answered that.
When they were done, Jin called dish duty while the rest straightened up the living room and put the blankets and pillows away. Alex took Holly out on the deck to enjoy some sunshine. It was chilly out so she picked him up and wrapped him in her coat with her. She looked out over the river and took a deep breath in while she stroked Holly's head. It was good to be back in South Korea with the guys. She leaned down and was talking quietly to Holly, "So what does he say about me?"
"He won't tell you anything, he's sworn a secret oath." Yoongi was hanging out of the glass door as he spoke to her. Holly looked at him then looked up at Alex and licked her face. Yoongi narrowed his eyes at Holly, "Traitor."
Alex laughed as she walked back into the apartment. Everything was back in order and the guys were getting ready to head back to their homes to pack. It was time to leave for South America.
When they were alone, Yoongi went up to Alex and pulled her in for a hug, "I missed you, Lex."
She smiled, "I missed you too, Yoongi." She buried her face in his shoulder. She leaned back and had her hands on his biceps when she suddenly looked down and squeezed his arm. "Have you been working out?"
He looked down shyly and ran his fingers through his hair, "Well, Jungkook has been giving me some pointers and I've been hitting the gym with him while you were gone. You can tell already?" He lifted his sleeve up and curled his arm up to make a muscle.
Alex squeezed his arm and nodded her head with a serious look on her face. "Most definitely."
He smiled shyly, "So, what do you want to do today?"
Alex lifted her eyebrow, "You should be packing for the trip. I didn't see any of your luggage out which means you haven't started yet."
Yoongi shrugged his shoulders, "It won't take me very long, I can do it later."
Alex shook her head, "Nope, c'mon, lets go pack." She scooped up Holly and grabbed Yoongi's hand to drag him to his room. She sat on the bed and petted Holly while Yoongi pulled out his suitcase. "I'll be your stylist for today. Lay out what you want to take and I'll tell you yes or no."
For the next hour Yoongi brought out outfits for Alex to choose from. He didn't need a stylist, but it was an excuse to spend time with her, and he would take whatever he could get. He liked having her in his home, doing normal things like couples do. She made him laugh, and he wanted to do whatever he could to put a smile on her face.
When he had finished packing, Alex left to go back to her hotel. Yoongi took out his journal and began writing the lyrics that were suddenly flowing inside him. Being with her inspired so many emotions, and he needed to get it on paper. He was close to finishing the song he had been working on and he wanted to give it to her, as a way of showing her how he felt. He knew this was how he wanted to make it official, and he needed that song ready when he asked her. The guys had told him he needed to show her what she meant to him, and what better way than to put his heart into words for her.
