This probably isn't what you're all expecting but I hope you still enjoy it :D

Sixx stared at the piece of paper in his hands for what must've been the millionth time, and every time he looked at it, it made him feel even worse. Because on this one little piece of paper was something he never ever wanted to see. He'd woken up from his little coma about a week ago and found this sitting beside his bed with Sonya's name on it. It was a letter she'd written to him, and it said clearly in just 3 little sentences something that destroyed his life.

Sixx, I'm going with Jess and Joe to find Greg. You made your choice by going to college without telling me. I hope you do good, I really do, but don't please follow me.

~Sonya

Balling his hand up into a fist, Sixx brought his hand to his mouth in an effort to hold in his sob. He'd let his emotions out once, and shortly after that his sister--the one person he'd do anything for--decided to up and leave him. All because he didn't tell her about him wanting to go to college. He didn't want to tell her because he knew she'd try to stop him but he wanted out of the life that Ryan had brought them up in. But Sonya just couldn't see it that way.

Letting out a shaky breath Sixx looked up from his spot on a bench and saw his roommate. Even though it tore him up to do it Sixx had left Ryan almost right away to go away to college across the country. It was a selfish move he knew but with Sonya hating him, he really didn't have a reason to stick around.

So he left. Prof. Brooks gave him the money he needed to fly across the country to attend UCLA and this was his life now. No more worrying about Devils trying to kill him, or not knowing if he was going to wake up the next day. Now the worst thing that could happen to him was he do poorly on a test. Yeah, he thought letting out a sigh. That's all I have to worry about now.

"Hey man how's it going?" Trav his roommate asked.

"Fine how's it for you?" Sixx asked with a smile on his face as his scooted over to give Trav some room.

"Going good, hey listen," Trav began and Sixx instantly knew he wasn't going to like whatever Trav was about to say. "There's a group of us heading down to this club called Millennium. Want to come with?"

"I don't know Trav, I got to stu-" Sixx protested but Trav wouldn't have any of it.

"You're coming and that's all there is to it man."

Sixx let out a sigh as he got to his feet. There really wasn't any point in trying to argue with Trav about going out partying. The boy was determined to get Sixx to come out of his shell.

It was the beginning of the semester here and Sixx was already behind on most of his classes. They weren't hard to catch up on though, but when Trav was trying to take him out to a party is when it got hard.

He didn't mind his roommate at all, he was just a little to wild for Sixx's taste.

Trav must've sensed that Sixx wasn't going to bother arguing and he broke out in a smile. "Alright cool. I'll pick you up in 10 minutes, go get changed and I'll get you at the corner of campus."

Sixx nodded hesitantly and Trav turned to go meet up with his friends. Waiting until his roommate was a good distance away Sixx got up sputtering his lips before walking to his dorm. He had a feeling this was going to be a long night, but that was part of the college life right?

"See now if I let you stay at the dorm you wouldn't be here having fun."

"What?" Sixx asked trying to get his voice loud enough to be heard over the music. Trav though, obviously not able to hear him just nodded and continued to dance to the loud music.
