Felicity's pov.

Things are going great. Weeks passed by and I feel contented in whatever I have right now. Peace. Now that I've grow, I'm greedy for peace. But not until...

My eyes grew wide when someone sit so sudden in front of me. I'm in a café waiting for my friends but a woman probably at my age, sat in front of me without any permission.

"Excuse me?" I asked and put down my drink on the table.

"I'm Rhys' wife." She then smiled at me. "I'm Michaela Jones- Martin." She added.

My lips parted. What is happening? She's is- what? Wife of whom?

That is so sudden. I don't know how to react.

My heart is beating so fast, my stomach is turning, and I'm breathing heavily. I think something inside me get shattered into pieces. I think I suddenly lost my voice because of something that keeps on tightening my esophagus.

S-She's Rhys' wife.

She swiftly put a marriage certificate in front of me. Rhys is a married man. Is that the reason why he couldn't reciprocate my feelings for him? Is that why he keep on pushing me? Is that it?

I slowly took the marriage certificate to see if it's true. And... it's fucking true.

Why do things happen so fast?! She just walked in, sat in front of me and shoved me their marriage certificate. What an actual fuck!

I bit my lower lip so hard that I suddenly taste my own blood.

She looked at me with concern.

I opened my mouth but I couldn't say anything.

"It looks like you don't know. I thought you knew that he is married but never knew who the girl is. So, you are maybe shocked at what I said to you... then, I'll do the talking." She stated.

"We got married because that's what our parents wants. We don't love or even like each other that's why I'm acting like this. The two of you— uhm, how could I put this?" I was staring at her as she put her index finger on her lower lip.

"Ah, you two are like in some affair, cheating on the legal wife but I don't care about that at all... But again, I can't divorce him. Not because of you." She added.

I wiped the tears on my cheeks. I tried to say something again, but I think I swallowed all the words that I know.

"W-Why?" I could barely ask that one word to her.

"Because I need him. I need his last name attached to my name." She said and smiled again.

I gasped for air.

"Oh, and I know everything about the two of you. Clearly Rhys and you didn't intentionally want to cheat on me. I know that you are pregnant with Rhys' child." She said and all I could do is to hold at my stomach.

"So, should I do the storytelling now? You'll be surprised that I know the details." I tried to stop her but she smiled like she's insane then continued.

"You two had a one night- stand, a night before we tied a knot, a night when the baby was conceived. Rhys still cheated because even though we both know that we are not in some kind of romantic relationship, he is still basically my fiancé because we are bound to get married."

"Y-You know about the baby." I could merely whisper.

She nodded. "And I know that my parents and Rhys' parents already looked for you. They knew that you are going to meet your friends this day and they are probably on their way here."
