Felicity's pov.

I smiled widely at Rhys, as I watch him with his forehead creased. He's busy reading a book. I wonder if our baby would take after him or me, but I rather that the baby would take after his father.

I touch my stomach as I whisper, "I want you to be like your father. Please don't take after me. I don't want you to be stupid and reckless person."

"I can see you there stop staring and murmuring." My grew eyes wide and slowly smiled. I walked towards the sofa and took a seat close to him.

"Are we good?" I whispered.

"Well, I'm very sorry by neglecting you even though I know you're in your first trimester." He said before closing his book. He put the book in the table in front of us.

"It's okay now. I just burst out yesterday. You know, hormones." I said and giggled. "I'm not usually like that." I added.

He nodded at me and shifted from his seat. "Foods in the kitchen. Eat and ready yourself, we are going somewhere."

I blinked three times as I watch him stood up from his seat and walk towards the door of his room.

"I forgot to tell you yesterday that we're going to have you and the baby get checked. I already prepared the appointment."

"But-" I'm about to make a reason because what about my parents?

"A hospital far away. Five cities away from here." He said and leave me alone in the living room.

Okay then!

"Oh Ms. Verlice you are six weeks pregnant now. Congratulations! Is the father here with you?" The doctor smiled widely at me while raising her eyebrow at me.

What the fuck! Why is she smiling like that and raising those thick written eyebrows?

I nodded with a faint smile on my lips.

She smiled again as she stood up and walked towards the door. She called someone from the outside. I bit my lower lip as soon as I saw Rhys.

He looked stiff right now. He usually look cool in whatever situation but right now... he look so nervous. And it's funny!

I seriously want to picture Rhys right now. He's fucking funny!

I clenched my fist to hide the smile on lips. He sat to the chair next to me. The doctor then, pointed at the sonogram. "Ms. Verlice is six weeks pregnant. As you can see, that's the fetus. It's healthy. I did the vaginal ultrasound so we can hear the baby's heart. We're lucky that we can hear the baby's heartbeat, because not all pregnancy at six weeks can make you hear it."

I looked at Rhys. He looked constipated. Awhile ago, I find it funny but right now, I find it amusing. He's intently looking at our baby in the sonogram. The fetus is still so small but he looks so amusing, being so focused at our baby.

"I'll give you later the vitamins you have to take and the date when you need a check up." The doctor added.

My eyes grew wide as Rhys rolled down the car's window. I've been looking at the white sand and the beautiful beach we are passing through... Rhys maybe saw how I want to smell the salty air and look at the mesmerizing beach.

"Can I on the stereo?" I asked without the bother of looking at him.

"Of course." As soon as I heard his reply, I connected my phone into the stereo of his car. I played strawberries and cigarettes by Troye Sivan.
