"Hey Eddie" Steve whispered, gently shaking the other awake. "We're here love" Eddie awoke and smiled the minute he saw Steve but looked away before awkwardly opening the car door. They both got out the car as Steve unlocked his front door while Eddie started grabbing boxes.

As Eddie passed Steve, he couldn't look at him in the eyes, which made Steve wonder what he had done wrong. He couldn't think of one thing so he trusted Eddie to tell him if something was up. "Where should I put them?" Eddie murmured, still not looking at Steve. "Just take them to my bedroom. All the way down the corridor" Eddie let a quick, small smile before he rushed upstairs to get away from Steve.

The brunet sighed and carried his own load of boxes. Eddie tried to constantly avoid him, so when the boxes were done and Eddie tried to leave, Steve grabbed his wrist. The raven looked back at the other with a worried look in his eyes. As if Steve would hurt him. So Steve immediately let go and let Eddie stand there instead.

"What's wrong Eddie"

The raven still wouldn't look at Steve so he inched closer and gently put his finger under Eddie's chin. This time he let Steve lift his head and finally looked at him. "Tell me love. What's on your mind?"

Why did you do this? I don't deserve it"

Steve felt his heart chip away, like an artist at a sculpture. Eddie didn't feel like he deserved this... Of course he didn't. The raven hasn't had one ounce of family affection in his life. So Steve had made it his job to fill that hole with as much of his own love as he possibly could.

"You do my love. Don't think that you don't. Why would you think that?" "Because I don't. Father made that very clear" "Why are you taking his word?" "Because every other thing he's said about me is true..."

Steve felt tears on his thumb as he wiped them away. "My love that isn't true. Nothing he's said is true. Your the most perfect person I could've met. Your amazing, wonderful, completely outstanding. Your so precious to me and your absolutely gorgeous"

Eddie couldn't help but smile sadly at the words from the brunet. "You really think so?" "Know so" Steve replied. "Now no more crying. Instead try squeezing me as hard as possible. See if that works"

The raven gave him an odd look so he said "just trust me love". Eddie wrapped his arms around Steve's waist and squeezed as possible. He stuffed his face into his chest and let him stay there for as long as possible. "Feel any better?" Eddie nodded and let go. "Told you so. Just trust me ok?"

Eddie paused before saying "I always will. No matter what."

This time Eddie hugged Steve probably, but still caught him by suprise. Steve took a second before wrapping his arms around Eddie in response. They found the physical touch of each other comforting. More so than he thought he would, according to Steve. But again, he'd been pleasantly surprised everytime that Eddie proved him wrong.

"I love you" Eddie said.

"I love you too" Steve said.

The words rolled of their tongues, so natural, like they were meant to be said to the other. Like they were meant for each other. Soulmates. Twin flames. An unbreakable bond of love. Something that could never be competed against.

"Welcome home Eddie" Steve said, watching Eddie's face light up and eyes sparkle. "You really mean it don't you?" "Of course I do" "God damnit Stevie your making me blush" Eddie pushed Steve away, making him fall onto the bed.

The raven tried to hide his blush with his hair, which made Steve laugh. "What?" Eddie asked. When Steve didn't reply, Eddie grabbed a pillow and smacked Steve with it. "Ok ok ok. I'm just admiring how sweet you are" "Ugh shut up" "You asked" "I wish I hadn't you idiot"

Then Eddie smirked and looked at Steve, who looked back at him with a look of uncertainty. "What?" "Oh nothing. Nothing at all.... CANNON BALL" Next thing the brunet new, he had a flying Eddie land onto him, laughing and smiling like a little boy.

Steve could really capture the beauty of the other. Beautiful, mesmerising eyes that sparkled every time he got excited. The raven hair that framed his face, the dimples in his cheeks that showed when he smiled. The serenity of his voice.

It was truly confirmed.

Steve Harrington had fallen for Eddie Munson.

And he wouldn't change it for the world.
