We drove back to Justin's house, and I had texted my mom letting her know I'd stay over there.

We walked down to his room quietly, as his mom was sleeping. He told me his dad already moved out with his siblings, and they're staying with a family member in Canada until he finds a house.

His dad had told him that none of this was his fault, and that he had nothing to worry about.

We both layed on his bed, and I was on my phone while he was on his.

He shut his off, and looked at me.

My eyes shifted to his. "What?"

"Why'd you decide to stay over?" He asked; the same question I had in mind.

"I wanted to keep you company," I answered. "You're going through a tough time right now."

I set my phone next to his, and he still looked at me. He sat up, and so did I, and I rested my head on his shoulder.

He lifted my chin so I could look at him, and he leaned down and kissed my lips softly.

I wrapped my arm around his waist, bringing myself up so I was on his lap, with my legs on either side of him.

He slid his tongue across mine, placing his hands on my hips, gripping onto them.

I smiled against his lips, pulling away slowly. He looked up at me, as I looked into his eyes.

"What was that for?" I asked, curious as to why he kissed me.

"I don't know exactly," he shrugged. "I felt like it was the right moment to do it."

I chuckled, getting off of his lap. He gave me a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt for me to put on. He put on sweatpants and a t-shirt, and sat down on his bed.

I changed, then laying down on the space next to him.

He lied down after I did, and we fell asleep quickly.

I woke up the next day to hear Justin in the bathroom, brushing his teeth. I rubbed my eyes, seeing the familiar figure walk into his room.

"Morning," He said, with a grin on his face.

"Good morning." I replied, yawning and stretching. I rubbed my eyes again, walking over to him. "I'm gonna head over to my house, just to situate myself."

He nodded. "Meet you later."

I walked upstairs, outside, then to my house. I entered to see my mom in the kitchen.

"Good morning," I said.

"Morning, love. Are you going out with Justin today?"

I nod. "Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Well, I was going to go out with his mother, Pattie. I just thought I'd ask."

"That's nice," I smile. "Where you goin'?"

"To the store to buy some supplies. We're making a garden for this lovely family."

"That's generous, I like the idea. Maybe I could help sometime. I don't know about today, though, I'm pretty sure Justin has something in mind for later."

"That's okay, Hun," she smiled, genuinely. "I'll let you know, maybe Justin can help, too."

"Alrighty," I agreed. "I'm gonna go get ready."
