The group continues to search and even Mason gets bored enough to join in. They are searching in silence before a quiet thud can be heard in the back of the room. Mason goes and checks it out to find a thick purple book on the floor. She flips it open to a random page to see a picture, "Raven. I think you should see this." She says as she hands it to her friend.
Raven takes the book and gasps at the picture she sees, "My mother."
Maddie has joined them at this point, "But, this book is about Wonderland. Why would it have a picture of the Evil Queen?"
'I mean she did cast a curse on the land which is the reason we can't go back. Duh.' Mason thinks while rolling her eyes. She may love her friends dearly but they can be truly daft sometimes.
Before Mason can speak up, Apple says, "Good question. Here, set it down. I'll try my new hexamination app. Scan photo. She's got a book in her hand, I wonder if we can see what's in it. Move up and to the right..."
"Look! In the mirror!" Raven exclaims, noticing something.
"Zoom in on mirror." Apple orders.
"There's writing there!" Bunny says.
Allister asks, "Can anyone read it?"
"Reverse image. Enhance." Apple says to her MirrorPad.
Raven gasps and takes the Apples tablet out of her hands, "The Wonderland curse.
Maddie excitedly says, "Ohhhh! If we know the curse, you can reverse it!"
"The curse will be broken, and Professor Grimm will remove it from the seal between our world and Wonderland!" Apple says hopefully.
Raven gives Apple her MirrorPad back before saying, "I don't know guys... I'm really still just getting the hang of my magical powers."
"But, you transported to this meeting." Apple says.
"Yeah, but..." Raven trails off before explaining how many times her spell failed before they finally got to the study hall, "See? Magic's not that easy!" She finishes
Kitty appears out of no where, "Hey guys, sorry I'm late." Mason chuckles quietly at the unintentional comedic timing.
"...Except for some people." Raven says slowly, "If I try reversing a spell like this, who knows what could happen?"
"Oh, brother." Faybelle scoffs as she pushes Raven out of the way, "Step aside, wannabevil! I got this from here. You've just gotta do it backwards! Ready? Okay!" The fairy tries to do the spell as if it's a cheer routine, "Curse this cast I Wonderland...on. Worse—" Faybelle gets transformed into a sheep with wings, "What?! This is all your fault! I am so outta here." She angrily flutters away after pointing a hoof at Raven.
Briar raises her eyebrows before saying, "That's actually the second time I've seen that happen today."
"Never gets old, does it?" Kitty says from beside Mason before they both smirk and do their hand shake.
"Raven! The Evil Queen's curse must have its own protective magic." Darling realizes, "Only one of the Queen's family has the power to reverse it."
"But Raven, you're destined to be the Evil Queen. It'll work for you." Apple says, basically repeating the same thing she's always on about with destinys.
"Apple..." Raven scolds.
Briar turns to Raven before she states, "Well, you sure are creative enough to figure it out!"
"That's the thing! Magic spells are a sort of a science as an art." Raven sighs.
"It will work for you, Raven! I know it will!" Lizzie gives Raven puppy dog eyes and everyone agrees. Even Mason.
"Okay," Raven says hesitantly as she takes Apples MirrorPad, "Here goes. Curse this cast I Wonderland on; worse to bad, and bad to good from cruel most fate a be shall yours so rule my defy dared have you!" Raven's eyes glow before papers start flying around the room, "Wait. No! That's not right! You don't reverse this curse just by saying it backwards. Uhh, this is something different!" Magic fog covers the room before it goes silent.
When the fog dissapears, the only two left in the room are Allister Wonderland and Bunny Blanc.
Allister coughs before worriedly asking, "Bunny? Bunny, are you alright?"
Bunny looks at him before answering, Yes but, what about everybody else?"
