CHAPTER 26

"Manang, ang tagal ng meryenda ko, ano ba! Kanina pa 'yan, gutom na 'ko!"

My brows automatically furrowed when I heared Ally's voice. Kakapasok ko lang dito sa loob since galing ako sa garden dahil naisipan kong mag-dilig ng halaman doon.

I saw Ally walking down the stairs. She rolled her eyes at me while I maintained emotionless on her.

"Ang tagal naman! Napakakupad niyo na rito ah!"

"Learn how to wait." I uttered. "If you're hungry at kung atat ka nang kumain, ikaw nalang maghanda para sa sarili mo. Just because you're here at a big house where there are maids, it doesn't mean na hindi ka na kikilos. Don't be lazy. Wala kang mapapala diyan sa katamaran mo at pagiging bossy well in fact, you're not even a boss here. You're just a nobody." I told her.

"Wala kang pakialam. Trabaho nila na magsilbi rito kaya mag-uutos ako ng kahit anong gusto kong iutos sakanila. At tsaka, sumosobra ka na ah. Wala naman ako sa'yong ginagawa." she said and walked towards my direction.

"I care about the people here, especially the maids. Hindi sila alila mo, remember that. Mukhang mas may silbi pa nga sila kaysa sa'yo." sabi ko.

"Ah, ganon? Dapat sa'yo sinasampal para tumatahimik eh."

Ally was about to slap me but I immediately catched her hand and stopped her. Sakto ring pagbukas ng main door at iniluwa no'n ang kanina ko pang hinihintay na tao.

"Don't you dare touch me, hurt me, or even lay a finger on me." I said and harshly let go of her arm. "Dad... You know this woman, right? You have to explain further then." I seriously said as I turned to Dad.

"Anak..." he uttered and walked towards me. "Did she hurt you? May ginawa ba siya sa'yo?" he worriedly asked me as he looked at me from head to toe before turning to Ally. "Ally, anong ginagawa mo rito? Ano yung nakita kong akma mong sasampalin si Ivy?" he asked in an angry tone.

"Siya ang nauna. She's hurting me by her words! Sumusobra na siya, Dad."

I shook my head, smirking.

What a liar.

"Thruth hurts, darling. And don't play victim, you liar." I said.

Susugurin pa ata sana ako ni Ally pero agad na pumagitna na sa amin si Dad. Dad hide me behind him.

"Stop, Ally. The both of you, please stop." Dad said calmly. "Follow me, let's all talk."

"As we should, Dad." I seriously uttered.

Dad looked at me once again apologetically but I just looked away.

Hindi man ako handa sa kung anong malalaman ko but I have no choice. I have to know everything. I have to hear my father's explanation on this. There's no way he will be lying now.

Magkaharap kami ngayon ni Ally habang nakaupo. We're here at a room, parang naging work room na 'to ni Dad dahil andito lahat ng gamit niya.

"Ayusin niyo ang tingin niyo sa isa't isa. I'm not liking it."

I sighed heavily before nodding. Inalis ko na ang masamang tingin ko kay Ally at tumingin nalang kay Dad nang seryoso.

"Ivy, anak, s-she's A—"

"I already know her name, Dad." I cutted him off. "Just go straight to the point. Aside from her name, explain and tell me who the hell she is. She told me that you're her Dad and that we're stepsisters. Please tell me that she's lying and that she's only out of her mind." I said.

Dad looked at us both before letting out a deep and heavy sigh. He looked away and silence wrapped us here at the four corners of the room.

Napatingin lang ako kay Ally nang magsalita ito at mababakas sa boses niya ang hinanakit niya.
