"How many times do I have to tell you, they're not ready" the man exclaimed. "So what, we just wait here till they find us and kill us all" the woman argued back.
I stood just outside of the room, it's been like this for a while. I looked down to myself to just curse at myself for being so weak. Then the door to the room opened, I saw the man walking out. He looked at me and sighed.
"Give me harder training." I asked him. "You can barely handle your training now." He replied to me. I said to him, "So we just wait till they find me, I've been here for a while it will only be a matter of time till they find me." He sighed "Fine if you really want it, but the moment I see you can't take it we're stopping." I nodded in response. "Well then let's get going shall we?" He said to me, as he walked away.
I followed him as we walked to the room we've been training in. The training we've been doing is me holding up to the pressure of magic. We reached the room as he opened the door, my heart started racing. I walked to the middle of the room, to my spot and made eye contact with him. "Are you sure about this?" He asked one last time. I nodded at him in response.
He raised his hand then the next second I felt like the whole world was crushing me. My legs started shaking, threatening to give up. I couldn't hear anything but the sound of my heart beating loudly. I see the face of the man looking worried, I can see him asking me if I can continue. I nodded back at him, he raised his other hand then it felt like the ground had hands with sharp nails grabbing onto my legs dragging me down to the ground while still feeling like I am carrying the whole sky on my shoulders.
I couldn't stand any longer, although I somehow found the strength to still stand up. Then I felt something warm inside me, everything still felt heavy but not like the sky was on my shoulders. I looked down at myself to see my skin shining like there was a bunch of glitter on me. Then everything stopped, I looked at the man to see a surprised look on his face while he put his hands down.
"See you were being too soft on them." a sudden voice said coming from the door. I looked at the doorway to see the woman standing there, arms across her chest leaning on the doorframe. "Follow me, training isn't over yet."
