"Hey, give that back!" I told him. "It's just a stupid old book, what's so special about it anyways." he snickered. I told him again "I said give it back!" "Or else what, what are you going to do about it?" He said.

"She told you to give it back." a tall girl said. "Huh, who are you?" He questioned her. Before he finished his question the book was gone from his hand now in the tall girl's hand. The bully just clicked his tongue and walked away.

"Hey, this is yours right?" she asked me, while handing me my book. "Yeah it is, thank you" I thanked her. "No problem" She smiled.

"Hey, are you ok?" the woman next to me asked worriedly. "Yeah I'm good, just a bit nervous." I replied.

"Do you remember the first time we met?" I asked her. "Of course I do, some douche stole your book and I got it back for you." She replied to my question. "Yeah, I'm thankful for my grandmother giving me that book, if I didn't have it we could have not met." I said. "I mean it's a great book too and I do hold it dearly since it is from my grandmother" I stammered on my words. She grinned at me.

"Now are you ready?" she asked me. "Of course I am." I replied. "Sure you won't regret this?" She asked. I replied to her "Why would I regret marrying the love of my life?" "Just making sure" she replied teasingly.
