His Drastic Step!!

He had took away her self confidence because of which she had no more will to live.He had took away all her hope without which it was very difficult for a person to survive.Draupadi's words constantly ringed in his ears where she had told him that once he realises what he has done,then he would not be able to face himself and the world.The self guilt will kill him little by little and will eat him up slowly from inside and he will not be able to do anything other than watching his two loved ones take their last breath right in front of him.And that all was indeed happening.

He slowly gets up from the chair and goes near Draupadi and caresses her hair and says in a cracked voice "I will make sure that this pain of yours ends very soon.I am really sorry that I am leaving you all alone at a moment like this when you need me the most,but it's for your and our upcoming child's own good." Saying so,he kisses her forehead lightly and then goes out of the chamber.

He goes towards a dasi and hand her a note and says "once Draupadi wakes up,please give her this note without fail." The dasi nod and then he goes outside the palace and climbs up on a chariot.He order the charioteer to stay back and he himself drives the chariot towards the forest.

After an hour or so Arjun finally reaches towards the most dark and dangerous part of the forest where he sees a river.He gets down from the chariot and says to himself "this is the most dark and dangerous part of the forest,so I am sure no one will come here in my search.So this is the perfect place for me to repent for all of my sins."

He starts walking towards the river and stands on the edge of the bank of river and joins his hands and says "my dear Draupadi and my upcoming child.I am so sorry that I could not be a worthy and responsible husband and father,matashrees,pitashree,bhratashrees,bhabhishrees, kakashrees and kakishrees,if I ever committed a sin towards you and if you ever felt bad or insulted because of me then please forgive me."

He further continues "I am leaving you all without giving a proper farewell so please forgive me.If I ever get another birth then I would surely like to be born in this mighty kuruvansh once again and marry Draupadi and be a better husband in that birth."

Then he sighs and says in a softer tone "Draupadi,though I was not a good husband,but I really hope that you would tell our upcoming child atleast a few good things about me so that he doesn't think that his father never loved him or his mother.I really love you and my child and that's the reason why I am taking this step so that our child and you are no more hurt by me and that you both remain safe for the remaining life."

Saying these last words,he stops talking and starts walking into the river.He steadies his breathing and takes a dive into the deep waters of the river.He closes his eyes and feels the pressure of water on his body as his body keeps drowning into the water deeper and deeper.

Slowly his head starts spinning and darkness starts taking over him.Before taking his last breath,he sees the vision of his brothers,his sister in laws,his mother's, father,kakashrees,kakishrees smiling at him happily and then he finally sees a smiling face of Draupadi with him beside her and a small child sleeping peacefully in Draupadi's arms.He smiles to himself at this.Because he remembers his mother telling him that whenever a person breathes his last,at that time he sees the faces of his loved ones and the visuals that he/she had last wished for before leaving this world.

He slowly traces his hands over the child in his vision and smiles once again before finally getting unconscious as his body keeps sinking deeper into the river water.

In Palace

By now,everyone in the palace had got news of Draupadi's condition and they all had gathered outside vaidyashala and prayed for Draupadi's and her child's well being.
