Her Final Adieu?

Arjun says in a pained voice "why would you say that.I would never do such a thing.I request you, please don't say like this both baby and you will be safe,I promise it." Suddenly Draupadi cuts him off by crashing her lips on Arjun's lips. Arjun was taken aback by her sudden action.He slowly kisses her back passionately exploring the deep corners of her mouth.

They poured all the love,care and longing they had for each other in this kiss.Suddenly Draupadi winced in pain causing them to break apart and Draupadi fell back in a proper position on Arjun's lap.

Then Arjun says "now stay still or the wound will deepen more which will increase the blood flow and that would hurt you more.And please don't close your eyes,keep talking to me.I want you to keep your eyes open and be in conciousness untill we reach the palace."

Draupadi nods to him and suddenly asks him the question that he least expected from her.She slowly speaks while taking a few small shallow breaths "Was there a girl in your life whom you loved with your heart and soul before me?"

Arjun looks at her wide eyed due to her sudden question.He thinks for a while and says with a slight smile "Yes,there is this certain girl whom I loved with my heart and soul,and even she loved me back,whom I always wanted to protect and I always wanted that she should stay with me but.." he stops speaking and suddenly his face becomes bitter and a little angry.

Draupadi after hearing those words felt betrayed and broken, after his sudden confession to her that he loves her,she was very happy but now after this sudden revealation of his,she felt heart broken and betrayed.But she gathered up all the courage and spoke up "but what?"

Arjun looks at her and says "but then due to some circumstances,someone persuaded that girl's parents and brothers to get the girl married to him and the girl's parents and brothers agreed to it without even pondering over the fact that how much their daughter and their dear sister will suffer after marrying that person."

Now Draupadi was curious as to who this girl exactly was. So she spoke "then what happened?" Arjun says "then she got married to that person and now her pain and sufferings are never ending and constant." Arjun was in tears after he stopped speaking.

Draupadi was even more hurt after seeing this so she spoke "do you still love that girl and does she still love you back?" Arjun looks at her and says "yes I still love her very much and it's very obvious that she loves me back too."

Now Draupadi couldn't control it anymore she snapped at him angrily not even bothering about the fact that she would get hurt.She said "But just now you confessed your love for me and now you are saying that you love someone else and even she loves you back then why did you even bother to marry me?"

Arjun looked at her confusedly and says "yeah I love her and even she loves me back and I still love you." Draupadi looks at him horror stricken and says "How the hell can you utter this thing so casually?"

Arjun again looks at her and says "Because it's a casual thing." Draupadi says "you love someone's else's wife and even she loves you back and you  love your wife too and you say that this thing is casual.I mean are you even serious about it?"

Arjun says "yes I am uttering each and every word sincerely and seriously." Draupadi wad beyond hurt now but she gathered all the strength remaining in her and asked him "And may I know what's the exact name of this so - called lucky girl?"

Arjun says "stop insulting her because I love both you and her more than my own life,and I can do anything for both of you two even give up my whole life for the two of you."

Draupadi liked the fact that he was sincerely in love with her but she didn't like the fact that her husband loved someone else too other than her and was ready to even sacrifice his life for that certain girl.

So Draupadi again asked in a normal time "please tell me the name of that girl." Arjun says "she is the only daughter in whole of Kuruvansh,and the only daughter of Maharaj Dhritarashtra and Maharani Gandhari,She is the life and soul of the Pandavas and finally she is a boon,a rare and good fortune and happiness of the palace of Hastinapur,She is our elder sister, Dushala."

Draupadi stared at him angrily and slapped him on his hand lightly and said "You are really and idiot,you fool." Arjun asks her innocently "what did I even do?"

Draupadi rolls her eyes and says "You dumbo,you had no need to exaggerate this thing so much.You could have directly uttered that you loved your sister.You removed the life out of me you stupid person."

Arjun just smirks and says "oh I see someone's jealous over here." Draupadi says "I am not jealous of anyone." Arjun speaks up "I never even said you were jealous then why did you think that I said that to you?"

Draupadi just stays quiet and thinks about the incidents happened with her in the palace in Arjun's absence and she shivers at that thought.and then she says after a few minutes "I can understand why you said that after marriage jiji's sufferings and never ending and constant."

Arjun looks at her suspiciously and seriously and then asks in a stern tone "tell me the truth.How do you know about Jayadrath and his  misbehaving.I don't think I ever told you about it.As far as I remember,I only told you about my  sister Dushala and her husband Jayadrath who cunningly first convinced mamashree shakuni with his cunningness and then forced kakashree and kakishree to think good about him and lend hand for the marriage my dear sister to him.And then after marriage we all can see how my dear sister is suffering now." He said sighing and his hands clenched into fists.

Suddenly Draupadi winced in pain.Due to continuous speaking,she had no energy left in her.Slowly her grip around Arjun's waist loosened.Arjun observed this and looked at her.Her eyelids had started to drop.Arjun lightly patted her cheeks and said "hey,hey,keep your eyes open.Talk to me.Please don't close your eyes.Stay awake,stay with me.Hey,can you hear me.Please answer."

Draupadi heard his voice and with somewhat energy left,she slowly holds her hand to his cheek and said in a wishper "I love you arya.I was lucky enough to be your wife in this life,hopefully we will definitely meet in next life or in heaven.I will be waiting for you."Arjun held her hand and said in tears "I love you too.Please stay with me.Open your eyes.Please."and slowly but steadily she started closing her eyes and in no time her eyes were fully closed.Her one hand was in Arjun's hand while other hand dropped lifelessly in air.Arjun was horrified at this.He starts wailing loudly and said in tears "Draupadi,please wake up.Don't leave me alone.Please stay with me.DRAUPADI!!"
