Elizabeth's POV
The pack began to growl as the hunters approached. The clicking of their safeties had the pack crouching down, ears flat against their heads, teeth bared.
The Alpha and Fidelis stepped in front of the pack and shifted. I flew down and landed right next to them.
"Ah, so we meet at last, Alpha of the mutts." My father earned himself a growl from the Alpha when he called us mutts.
"Leave! You have no business here, rouge." The Alpha snarled, his voice full of rage and raw power. My father laughed and mother snorted.
"Rouge? Please. Like we would ever associate ourselves with the lowest of the low." My mother said, giving a sickly sweet smile.
"I said leave, Rouge! And do not come back!" The Alpha's threat had no affect on them and my father shook his head slowly before stepping up to the line.
"You see, we have a predicament here, Alpha. You want us to leave...but we are here to make sure your kind is gone...for good." Fidelis growled along with the rest of the pack and I stepped up, moving away from Fidelis' attempt to pull me back.
"Why? Why the hell would you do all of this? They haven't done anything to you!" I yelled. My parents turned towards me and sneered at me.
"You're a disgrace. We should have left you on our doorstep to rot. You ungrateful ingrate!" My so called mother, spat. Just as she made a move to cross the line, my brother appeared out of nowhere and pulled her back.
He glared at me while saying to her, "She isn't worth it. Patience mother." I felt my body heat up at his words.
"You sorry excuse for a human being! You were my brother! You were supposed to protect me! But instead you left me behind. You left me to become a stupid HUNTER! A HUNTER! YOU PROMISED! You promised." My voice died down at the end as I stared at him and I saw a flash of guilt in his eyes before they hardened with hatred.
"We were never family and I never intended to keep my promise. My job was to keep an eye on you until you were old enough to care for yourself. When that time came, I left. I left because I never loved you. You mean nothing to me." I flinched at his words and again, a flash of guilt ran across his face before it hardened. I straightened my back and closed my eyes.
"If that is how you feel, then I won't have any trouble doing this." I opened my eyes, which were now white, and I rose from the ground, the wind whirling around me. I lifted my hands and my parents rose from the ground. They had whirlwinds below them, beginning to form and as soon as they had enough momentum, I set the whirlwinds on fire.
My parents began to scream as they saw the fire slowly creeping towards them in the air.
"ELIZABETH! STOP IT! PUT THEM DOWN!" Ray yelled.
"This must end, and it must end now." I said, my eyes never leaving my parents.
"You're right. This has to end." Ray said, before I felt a pain in my chest. My eyes changed back to normal and I fell to the ground. My parents fell as well and their bodies were crushed due to the force at which they fell.
Fidelis caught me in his arms and laid me down on the forest floor, away from the fighting that had begun. I could hear the gun shots and growls along with the sound of bodies hitting the floor.
"Elizabeth, stay with me. You'll be okay." I sat up a little, with Fidelis' help, against a tree. I looked down and saw a bullet wound in my chest. Around the wound were small vein-like lines that were spreading throughout my body. They were spreading slowly, causing my pain to be drawn out.
Fidelis was trying to cover my wound, calling for help, tears streaming down his face. I put my hands on top of his and removed them from the wound.
"Fidelis, save the pack. They need you." I whispered, too weak to speak properly.
"No! I'm not leaving you. He shot you. Oh god, he shot you." I brought his face up to look at me and I gave him a small smile.
"Fidelis, I love you. I love you so much. But the pack needs you and you have to help. They won't win without you. Please, go." He shook his head but stopped when I gave him a reassuring smile. He closed his eyes briefly before looking at me, a fire blazing in his eyes.
"I'll avenge you, my love. Wait for me." He kissed me softly before racing into the war and tearing through the hunters one at a time. I saw that we weren't doing so well so I used my energy to revive all of the wolves that had died, and make their fur thicker, harder to penetrate.
I fell to the ground as my energy was depleted. I watched the fight from my position on the ground and saw Fidelis rip Ray to shreds. Alpha was fighting against four hunters but he wasn't going to win. He fell to the ground, his blood mixing with many other's. Soon, all that was left were the trees and the lifeless bodies, soaking in red. No one survived, everyone was gone...and now it was my turn.
"I'll see you soon, my love." I whispered, tears rushing down my face, watering the earth, before my eyes closed and my body shut down.

"So you see Alpha. If we don't break down the barrier and properly prepare, there will be a massive massacre and your species will live no more." I said, calmly.
Fidelis stepped back, hand on his head from the rush he had from being projected into my vision. The Alpha was getting his bearings together as well.
He sat down heavily in his chair, his eyes shut. I waited for them both to recover.
Fidelis' eyes snapped open, tears rushing down his face. He brought me into his lap and crushed me within his embrace.
"I just watched you die...and I couldn't do anything about it." Fidelis whispered, grief and pain thick in his voice. My heart wrenched and I smiled softly at him.
"It's okay, my love. I'm still here. The pack is still alive. I promise, I won't let anything happen to the pack." He removed his head from my hair and stared at me before shaking his head and looking at his father.
"Alpha, we cannot risk losing our pack because we refused to take the necessary precautions before-hand."
Alpha stared at us, studying us for a bit before his pupils dilated and he stared right at me.
"What must we do?"
