Chapter 3: E.T.

I unlock the door. Eddie right behind me. And step in.

"Jeez yn, Your place is rad"

"Thanks" I say blushing while I put my keys and board down.

"Parents?"

"Theyre gone alot for buisness. Just me, myself, and I most of the time." He looks concerned again. Why does he care?
"Uh come sit. Do you want water or juicee or soda?"

"I'll take some juice" his expression changes quickly and is smiling.

We walk over to the kitchen and he takes seat on the island. I hand him a juice box. He takes it puzzled.

"I like straws and the flavors they just taste better in a box" I giggle.

"That makes perfect sense. From now on I shall only sip juice it it is straight from a box" Eddie says lifting his cup in the air.

I grab myself one and a bag of chips and sit across from him. He looks up at me and brushes my hair behind my ear. I shake my hair back to my face and look back up to him

"If you like it like that"

"I do"

I grab the snacks and head to the sofa.

"Wannaaa watch a movie or something"

"Totally, hey I got brownies" He winks

"Absolutely" I love brownies. Especially the ones with dark chocolate chuncks and carmel on top. How could I say no. I get comfy. He pulls them out of his pocket and plops down next to me.

He hands me the bag. "Ladies first"

I scarf that brownie down like I havent eaten in days. I reach for another when he stops me.

"Save some for me why don't ya. Plus these are crazy strong"

I mean the dark chocolate was pretty dark but I like it. I let it go, get up, and put on E.T.

"E.T?" Eddie says

"Duhh. Aliens are so cool. You heard what happened in roswell a few years back. They're totally here. I mean they tried saying it was a weather balloon but it totalllyyyy was not. Who changes their story that much. They mustve paid him off. There were bodies too. Witness testimony babe. Theyre here"
"Those brownies work quick on you huh"

"What do you mean" tHoSe BrOwNiEs WoRk QuIcK. I'm talking fast because ALIENS?? duh

"They have weed i them."

"WHAT WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME"

"I THOUGHT YOU KNEW"

We start laughing uncontroablly. I start to roll over. Our laughs turn into those silent ones you get paralyzed from because it's just too funny. I'm curled into his lap and that's when my memory goes out. It slowly comes back when I open my eyes and I'm still in his lap surrounded by junk food. There's a powdered alien and astronauts breaking window shades on the tv.
Eddie looks down to me and cups my cheek. And my memory goes out again.
