Ford told Dipper they would do the surgery the following day after Dipper got home from school. He explained that Dipper likely wouldn't be throwing up flowers too much that day since Ford had cleared out as much as he could earlier.
"You should probably explain to your sister what's going on. Now that you've decided to go through with the surgery she won't worry as much." Stan said. Dipper just nodded and went back upstairs.
Dipper decided to tell Mabel tomorrow. They had their last class together, which happened to be gym, and he knew they would be having a free day tomorrow, so the two could take a walk and talk about it without worrying about other people overhearing them.
He took a deep breath and went to take a shower before deciding to go to bed early. He'd need a lot of energy tomorrow.

The next morning Dipper felt as though he had gotten no sleep, but he didn't feel the need to throw up flowers. A few dark orange petals flew out as he coughed, but he was grateful he wasn't currently throwing up whole flowers at the moment.
He lazily got ready for school, throwing on his clothes, then, after a moment of contemplating, his hat and the necklace Bill had gotten him as well.
Mabel greeted him in the kitchen cheerily offering him the box of cereal he usually ate on the mornings that Stan didn't cook.
He ate breakfast quickly and quietly. Once both him and Mabel finished the two left for school, Soos offering to drive them.

Once at school, Bill found Dipper almost instantly.
"Heya Pinetree!" Bill called, waving Dipper and Mabel over to the table he was sitting at in the courtyard outside of the school.
The twins walked over.
"Morning Bill." Dipper managed. He absent-mindedly noticed Pyronica wasn't present, but didn't think much of it. Maybe she wasn't at school today.
"I'm gonna go find my friends!" Mabel announced before running off. Dipper rolled his eyes.
"She's got a lot of energy in the morning. Are you sure you two are related?" Bill joked, making Dipper smile slightly.
"I'm pretty sure she isn't even from this planet." Dipper commented. Bill laughed.
"Well that makes two of us. Remember? I'm the demon that haunts you?" Bill joked. Dipper sighed, but laughed lightly. It was a running joke between the two of them since the start of their friendship that Bill was actually a some dorito obsessed demon that Dipper accidentally summon from opening a bag of Cool ranch Doritos on a full moon or something.
"Yeah yeah, shut up Cipher." Dipper said, humor in his voice. Bill laughed again.
"Did you take your medicine this morning?" Bill asked.
"Huh?"
"Your medicine, did you remember to take it this morning?" Bill asked. Dipper had almost forgotten the lie him and Ford had told Bill.
"Oh...yeah, Ford made sure I wouldn't forget." Dipper lied. Bill nodded.
"So, did your dad scold you when you got home?" Dipper asked, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah...he also took my phone and told me I couldn't leave the house other than school for two weeks." Bill said. Then he smirked and pulled a phone out of his pocket.
"Good thing I have my spare." Bill said, "And he's gonna be on a buisness trip for the next week and a half, so he won't be able to enforce it."
Dipper laughed lightly.
