Dipper had never had a sick day in his life.

He wasn't exactly sure why, but his immune system was stronger than steel. Though allergies sometimes plagued him, he had never been sick enough to have to take off a day from school.

So when Dipper woke up on that sunny Monday morning, feeling somewhat ill, he brushed it off.

I can't be sick. I don't get sick. He insisted as he got out of bed, bringing himself to his closet to grab his clothes for the day. But even with his words of assurance, he still felt a tightness in his chest.

Once dressed, Dipper walked downstairs towards the kitchen for breakfast.

As he walked into the kitchen, his twin sister, Mabel, an optimistic and bubbly girl, greeted him.

"Hey Bro-Bro! Good morning!" Mabel said cheerily as she poured herself a bowl of overly sugary cereal.

"Morning Mabel." Dipper said groggily as he poured his own bowl of cereal.

As Dipper sat down at the table, across from his sister, Mabel looked up at him from her cereal.

"You okay Dip-Dop?" Mabel asked. Dipper shrugged.

"I feel this strange feeling in my chest. Is your allergies acting up?" Dipper asked. The twins' allergies strangely seemed to act up at the same time.

Mabel's face scrunched up in confusion.

"No, our allergies usually don't act up until later in the year." Mabel said, she looked at her brother, concern evident on her face.

"Are you sick maybe? I know you never get sick, maybe you caught something from Grunkle Stan?" Mabel suggested.

"Grunkle Stan isn't sick though." Dipper commented, "I'm sure it's nothing though. It's like you said, I never get sick, besides, it's hardly noticeable."

"Alright...but if it gets worse let me know. No one will fault you if you take a day off school." Mabel said.

"I will." Dipper reassured, having no idea then, just how bad his situation was.

Dipper walked into the school, Mabel skipping along side him, until she spotted her friends, saying a cheery goodbye to her twin before running off to join her friends.

Dipper walked to his locker, pulling out his textbook for his first class before walking to his anatomy class.

As he walked in, he saw his lab partner sitting on top of their shared table, talking with a couple of their other classmates.

Dipper's lab partner was certainly a character, to say the least.

The boy was fairly scrawny, standing just a few inches taller than Dipper. He had yellow dyed hair with a black undercut, his bangs just falling in front of his left eye, his bright blue eyes on a flawless tanned face. The Lab partner seemingly had a strange fascination with the color, as what was seemingly everyday worn the color yellow in some form or another, today no exception. He wore a yellow pullover with a crudely drawn UFO on it, over a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, as well as a pair of yellow converse, the toes of which had worn sharpie drawings of the illuminati eye of providence.

Dipper's Lab Partner, was named Bill Cipher.

And Dipper was hopelessly in love with him.

Maybe "in love" was pushing it. Dipper definitely had a major crush on the boy. He had since they had met years ago in their first year of high school.
