"All over a piece of fruit..." I grumbled, stitching up the last piece of clothing.

Eve had her face in her hands, so her reply was muffled. "I'm so sorry..."

"You were tempted dear, it's not entirely your fault. Besides, you have such a deep curiosity. Now put your arms over your head so I can help you put this dress on," I said. He instructed me to not let them have extravagant clothing, so I made Eve a simple dress and satchel.

She obeyed, hiccuping as she put some oranges in the satchel.

Suddenly, she rushed forward.

I quickly flew into the air before she could touch me. I grew close with Eve, but we weren't allowed to touch them because of the punishment.

I swallowed, "I'm sorry Eve, but this is as much as I can do."

"No, no... Please! DON'T LEAVE ME OUT THERE! ELYMD!" she screamed as Jophiel ushered her and Adam out of Eden.

I watched as they were forced three miles away, the demons already looking them up and down.

I saw Jophiel fly back as Uriel began his post, flaming sword in hand.

Jophiel met my eye, giving a sympathetic nod. She was my caretaker when I was young, giving me comfort even now.

I slowly descended to the ground, laying beside some raspberry bushes. Tears began to fall onto my cheeks, descending into the ground, creating wild baby's breath.

"It's not your fault my dear, she's the one who disobeyed."

I exhaled, "she still cried for my help..."

The voice chuckled a small bit, "this is why you're an angel of compassion my dear."

"Lady Asherah, how can I help her?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, but you can't. At least not right now. Once she and Adam have a child, if the bond between you and Eve is still strong at that time, they could name you as their household patron."

"As if He would allow that..." I muttered. A few minutes passed before I felt her presence go away.

Eventually my eyes grew heavy, sending me into a deep sleep.
