Vannor

"Thank you, Lilith," the angel spoke, before walking back to Eden. Odd, why doesn't she just fly?

I turned to Lilith, "what do you mean by 'Lose her wings'?"

Her face turned grim.

"She could lose her life for being out here, Akhi. Especially for talking to us," she explained.

Oh.

"But angels are immorta-"

"Erased," she cut me off. "Angels are usually erased. Luc got off easy."

"But she's a guardian angel, she had every right to be out here," I muttered.

"She isn't."

"What?"

"She isn't a guardian angel Vann."

I swallowed, "well, then she's just another prissy angel. She shouldn't have meddled."

The word felt odd on my tongue. She didn't strike me as prissy. Stubborn, sure, but not prissy. Rather adorable actually...

I shook my head, clearing my thoughts away. Fucking angel charm.

"Ely can't help it. She's rather sympathetic. Now watch these humans while I go fuck my fiance," Lilith commented offhandedly before teleporting to Lucifer's abode.

"Didn't need to know that!" I shouted after her.

Watching as they both lay in comas was dreadfully boring. And when I'm bored, my mind wanders. And when my mind wanders, I do some questionable things.

In this case, I begged for the angel to be unharmed.

Elymd

I kneeled before God and Asherah. That statement alone would make anyone in trouble die of tension.

"Do you know why you are here, Elymd?" God spoke, his voice booming as it normally does.

I nodded. It was better to tell the truth.

"Then you should know that I will now STRIPE YOU OF YOUR-"

"Darling," Asherah interjected, "shouldn't you hear her reasoning?"

"I suppose..." God mumbled. Asherah beckoned me to speak.

"Once I heard Eve's screams pierce through the air, I couldn't help but go out to help her. Once I arrived, I could see that Adam had beaten Eve to unconsciousness. So, I reacted," I explained, voice only wavering as the image flashed through my head.

"And of the demons? Of Lilith?" He questioned. It took everything in me not to sigh.

"The male demon insisted on speaking to me, that situation could not be helped. Lilith and I only talked briefly, which was mainly her apologizing for her brother and reminding me how much trouble I could get into if I didn't leave," I recounted.

"I see..." God trailed off, "you will experience true isolation for conversing with the damned."

I finally looked up, but it was already too late. I was already in a cocoon of darkness and silence before I could even blink.

AN: In Hebrew, akhi means "my brother". Also since the "first" sin hasn't been committed, Hell doesn't exist quite yet. Demons are free roaming outside the garden at this point.
