Out of all the places he could be right now he was standing in front of the man he dislikes so much. The man who was suppose to be a loving father for him but instead he became a successful businessman, who could be the one to keep his family together but instead gave up them all together, he gave up on Jungkook.
Standing in front of his father Jungkook couldn't help but notice how he couldn't recognize his own father anymore, well fair enough he hasn't seen him in a while and he would have loved to keep it that way, but he had come to him when he mentioned that he knew Jungkook was indeed in Deagu and he knew he was living with Y/n.
Now that he was here, he was little glad he was facing him after long knowing that soon this man will be destroyed. He just couldn't stop himself from smiling.
Mr. Jeon looked at him, his eyes cold as ever, "Sit down, will you?" He ordered Jungkook, who nodded a little and sat down opposite to him and gave him a cold look as well.
"So why you wanted me here?" Jungkook asked in nonchalant tone staring at him.
Mr. Jeon gave him a blank look, "Are you serious?" He asked as if he was in disbelief. Jungkook remained silent although he already knew what it was all about. "What do you mean?" He demanded a little pissed and somehow that fanned Jungkook joy of getting a reaction from him.
He shrugged his shoulder carelessly, Mr. Jeon inhaled deeply to calm himself. "The news was still out in public, my team had to remove the article. I asked to take care of it didn't I?" He sounded annoyed yet kept his calm.
"If you already had people for that why ask me?" He fired back with a smug look on his face.
Mr. Jeon sighed, "Jungkook what's up with you? I thought you were over that stupid girl?" He asked, Jungkook jaw clenched as he glared at his father.
"I think you got the wrong idea." He spit as if he was so close to grabbing him by his coller and slam him on the table. He couldn't believe this is the man who is his father, a man who destroyed a poor girl's life and still today he had no remorse at all.
Mr. Jeon stood up from his chair and walked around and looked down at him, "I thought you finally grew up, but look at you, acting like lovesick teenager. Jungkook, don't you feel embarrassed chasing a girl that doesn't give shit about you?" He asked not even trying to hide the how it humorous.
Jungkook looked at him and sighed. "What do you know?" he asked.
Mr. Jeon scoffed a little in a mocking way, "You think I don't know about the triangle between you and those two, Y/n and Taehyung." He mentioned with a grin saying that in fact he knows everything that has been happening, although Jungkook is unsure how much does he knows.
"So, what if I do like her? Weren't you the one going to marry her off with me? What was that about then? Her money? her fame... that's all?" He questioned without breaking his gaze, for the first time in his life he was able to look his father in the eyes and now he realized, there was absolutely nothing he thought he would see in those eyes.
