Kaeya chuckled as Diluc merely sighed in annoyance.

"That was a rather eventful trip." "You only say that because you got drunk after finding a crate of fresh sake."

Kaeya held a smile on his face before it turned into curiosity. While speaking to Diluc he noticed a boy of rather short stature, crimson red eyes and beautiful white hair with a strip of red to highlight the bland white colour.

Kaeya grabbed the luggage beside him and brushed past the other male while he was scolding him.

Diluc clenched his fists tight while yelling at Kaeya to "get his ass back here". Kaeya ran off to explore and dropped his luggage on the way, obviously not caring about it.

Diluc questioned why he even came as he picked up Kaeya's luggage and set off to find a place to stay.

Kazuha and Scaramouche returned to the hut Scaramouche owned, holding tightly onto each others hands.

Scaramouche placed Signora's umbrella against the entrance and made himself remember to return it to her later.

Kazuha made himself comfortable and sharpened his blade while sitting on the back door step.

Scaramouche was making dinner, but had his eyes on Kazuha the entire time. Kazuha stood up and put away his sword before walking over to Scaramouche.

Scaramouche quickly looked down at the rice he was kneading, noticeably embarrassed. Kazuha pulled his arms around Scaramouche's waist and rested his head on his shoulder, looking over to the rice.

"Kuni. Hungry." Kazuha poked at the rice before taking a small chunk of it. Scaramouche looked back at him and red was all over his cheeks.

Kazuha placed the chunk of rice at his lips before pushing it in and chewing with a tired expression.

"I'm almost done with dinner. You can go sit at the table." Scaramouche put the rice into a bowl and started mixing it with sakura blooms and Amakumo fruit.

Kazuha nodded and went to sit down on the cushion situated in front of the dining table.

Only a few minutes later, Scaramouche arrived with a bowl of rice, fried fish, a salad and a dish from Liyue.

Kazuha looked at the food, amazed at how good Scaramouche's cooking was. Scaramouche sat down next to Kazuha so that their shoulders were touching.

"You know how to make Liyue dishes?" A plate of Mora Meat had sauce dripping down the side, fresh vegetables neatly tucked in the dough along with warm, delicate meats.

Scaramouche nodded as he pressed a fork into the fried fish. He had sprinkled small Naku Weeds over the fish, causing it to give off a sweet, delicious fragrance. The fish was perfectly seasoned with moderate amounts of pepper and chilies.

The rice was sweet and yet bitter at the same time, causing the two strong flavours to clash and creat a sweet dish with a strong aftertaste of bitterness. The sakura blooms were vibrant pink in colour, meaning it was rather flavourful. The sweetness of the blossoms was the dish's main attraction, while the bitterness of the Amakumo fruit juices was the strong aftertaste accompanying it.

The salad consisted of Naku Weed, Amakumo fruit, sakura blooms, dendrobiums and lavender melons. All this was neatly diced up into bite size pieces and peppered with the sweet dendrobium pollen.

Kazuha stared at the delicacies placed before him, skeptical to eat it. "Kuni, are you sure I can eat such fancy food?" Kazuha was hesitant to accept the meal.

"Go ahead. I cooked a Liyue dish knowing you like to go there." Scaramouche smiled with a small portion of lavender melon in his mouth.

Kazuha picks up his utensils and begins to slowly eat the meal. When they were packing up the dishes and wiping down the table, however,

somebody burst through the door.
