Never Leaving

Chapter; Fifteen

A group of Fatui burst through the door and point their weapons at the two.

Scaramouche dropped the plates and leapt towards Kazuha, shielding him from the men.

"Who sent you?" Scaramouche glared at the group with hazy eyes.

"Her Highness herself. The Tsaritsa." The Hydro Gunner at the front replied, directing his gun to Kazuha.

Scaramouche gripped tightly onto Kazuha as the Hydro Gunner threatens to shoot him.

"The Tsaritsa's orders are to be carried out no matter the consequences." An Electro Hammer Vanguard held his hammer over his shoulder, using a stance enabling him to be able to strike immediately.

The Hydro Gunner immobilised the two in a sudden and quick bubble to which they were unable to react.

The pair soon fell unconscious, later waking up to being chained to the ground. Scaramouche was awake before Kazuha, fiddling with his fingers to attempt to slip out of the chains.

"Now that you are both awake, I shall inform you of the fate I have chosen for you."

The Tsaritsa made her voice loud and clear, a drop of sweat rolling down Scaramouche's face.

"Kunikuzushi is to forget about Kaedehara Kazuha's existence."

Kazuha's eyes widened before his head spun around to face Scaramouche, who now had a few tears in his eyes.

"Kaedehara Kazuha will be executed for disturbing our plans."

Scaramouche let a few more tears fall before breaking his chains with pure strength and attempting to do the same with Kazuha's.

"Now!" The Tsaritsa yelled as if to signal somebody else.

Childe and Signora stepped out from the shadows bearing their weapons.

"Sorry Fand- Kuni." Childe whispered before grabbing the sobbing Scaramouche by the collar and pushing him aside.

"This will be quick." Signora reassured Kazuha before proceeding to prepare the weapons.

Scaramouche protested and struggled, absolutely refusing to give up.

Signora held her usual catalyst, preparing to kill Kazuha.
