Chapter; Sixteen

Ajax struggled as Scaramouche used all his strength and stamina attempting to pry himself out of Ajax's grasp.

Kazuha stared at Scaramouche with dampened cheeks, breathing heavily. Kazuha was afraid of dying here.

If Kazuha were to die at that moment, he would never have the chance to tell Scaramouche "I love you".

Kazuha did his best to get the chains loose. He fidgeted around, used brute force, tried to untie it, he even tried to rip the chains out of the ground.

Ajax held his Hydro Blade at Scaramouche's chest, warning him not to do any more. The Tsaritsa grinned before stepping down from her seat and grabbing onto Kazuha's jaw.

"What a pity. What a pity indeed. It's a shame you have such a pretty face.. Such a shame it will be covered in blood quite soon."

The Tsaritsa signalled for Signora to finally kill off Kazuha. Signora looked almost as if.. she felt bad..

A bead of sweat slid down her temple, slight hesitation stopping her. "Don't worry, it won't hurt."

Scaramouche pulled away at the last moment wherein Ajax let his guard down. "Kuni!" Ajax called for Scaramouche before leaping forwards.

The Tsaritsa turned her head to see Scaramouche brush past her, whipping her head around once again, only to see Kazuha a few metres away.

Scaramouche was holding on to Kazuha so he wasn't taken away from him. Signora attempted to freeze the both of them with her Cryo Delusion.

But Scaramouche leapt away, out of range along with Kazuha gripping onto his hand. Kazuha used his Anemo abilities to help them out, jumping up onto a higher platform.

From there, Scaramouche was able to get them both out of the base.

"We're free."
