Ever since you worked for the BAU Spencer Reid, and you have never liked each other. You got along fine with Rossi, Derek, JJ, Penelope, Hotch and Emily. But there was something about Spencer that made you want to strangle someone. Same goes for Spencer. It was constant bickering and battling of this or that. Hotch never paired you together for this reason.
Although something changed after Seaver arrived and JJ went away for a few weeks. Spencer was constantly around her. Whether it be during his reading, or just him handling something. And even though you felt you shouldn't wish this, you missed your bickering over Doctor Who, over who was right about the unsub, over germs, over JJ and Emily (which was a constant battle).
"I know right! That movie was... Rad?" Spencer laughs. You stood by Penelope and Derek, your head down. This was the fourth movie you've went to, and each and every one Spencer has changed in the slightest. You missed the geeky Spencer who would spit facts during a bicker. You missed smiling at the end of the fight because you knew he was right. You missed him.
"That part were the monster attacked the city! So scary!" The blue-eyed bitch commented. Oh, forgot to point out, you blamed it all on Seaver.
"Nah, not even a little bit scary, I think you guys are a bunch of wussies," Derek chuckled.
"You literally held my hand and cried into my shoulder the entire time, Mister," you told him, everyone ignores you and continued to talk. You sighed and headed for your car, unlocking it and getting in.
~~~~~
You walk into the BAU, coffee in hand. Garcia hops off Dereks desk when you arrive and tackle you in a bear hug. You giggled and pulled away, setting your coffee down and turning back towards Garcia.
"I thought you were dead! Derek and I looked for you for hours!" Garcia cried, hugging you again. Derek nodded, smiling happily.
"I just went home," you shook your head, laughing. Spencer finishes writing whatever it is he was writing on his report and looked up at the three of you.
"That's what I told them," Spencer announced, you mumbled 'like you'd care,'. He looked shocked that you would say that, and you simply nodded sitting down.
~~~~~Hotch reported that you had a case. Seaver almost jumped with excitement. You were mumbling, 'fuck you fuck you fuck you,' the whole time. You really did hate her. You walked into the only available spot; next to Spencer and Seaver. Great.
"Last night, at exactly eleven o'clock, Mia Somerhalder was reported missing in Las Vegas. This morning, we found her dead body and a note, saying '1/10'. Just twenty minutes ago, Koraline Rodriges was reported missing. We think it's connected because-" You interrupt Garcia.
"It was eleven in the morning. Do you think it's connected to the case in Illinoi?" You ask, examining the two dark skinned girls with brown hair, except Koraline had blue streaks through her hair. Their eyes were the same too, brown with a bit of green.
"The unsub obviously has a type..." Seaver mumbles. You roll your eyes. "My dad did too, blondes with a little bit of-" You groan and slam your hands against the desk. Seaver stops talking, looking at you with a weird look. Spencer looks concerned.
"Ashley! Nobody cares about your Serial Killer Dad! No wonder nobody likes you!" you shout, standing up rubbing your temples. Hotch looks at you and already knew you needed a minute. He gestured to the door, and you walked out.
~~~~
Everybody talked about the case, although you were busy going over ways to kill Seaver. It took you three snaps in the face from Rossi to make you come back to real life. You went back to discussing the case, sometimes death staring Seaver if she mentions her dad or any parts of her family.
"-the Unsub may have a type, but most likely it's a hate crime to females in their mid-twenties to thirties who happen to be dark skinned," Spencer told Seaver softly. As though if he touched her, she would break. You groaned internally. Hotch told you were to go when the plane landed. Somehow you ended up working the dump site with Spencer.
Spencer sat looked over the area, humming a tune. You knew the song as 'Thank Me Later' by Kings. You giggled as you hummed along. Spencer turned to you and scrunched up his nose.
"How do you, Y/n m/n l/n, know Kings?" Spencer asked.
You shrugged your shoulders, "How do you?" Spencer went quiet, continuing to look around and look for anything unusual.
"I'm sorry," Spencer told you as you got into the car.
"For?"
"When you left, I ignored you the whole time, I just wanted to get through one night of-"
"No fighting? I know, Spence. It's fine, Seaver's a good girl," You lied.
"I'd like to redo our friendship," Spencer told you. You laughed a little, causing Spencer to glance at you.
You stop laughing and shake your head, "Reid, I don't want to redo our friendship. I just wish we could get along better," You told him. He nodded. "But I'm still right about JJ and Emily," You mumble.
"Heard that," Spencer said flatly. Driving off.
~~~
"I hate cuddles! and people, and Spencer and-"
"I heard that!" Spencer yelled from the other room of the mansion. I heard that became his way of saying 'Y/n your gonna start a fight,' a warning. And that's how you guys ended falling in love. Fighting was fun for the both of you, but you also learned that you liked to do other things with each other then just fighting.
A/N: SORRY, I didn't know how to end this.... But hope you enjoyed.
