Harleys Ryker pov:

I wake up to hear my parents arguing in the dining room, it's about me. I quickly put on a pair of silky matching pajamas with hearts on them and get up.

"Just give her another chance, I wasn't perfect on my first try." I hear my mom yell. "Maybe she's not ready to be queen. Maybe we should just accept that." My dad says. "Fine. How about she will have to train for a month straight and if she passes training she's ready." My mom states. "Fine, okay. Yeah, your right." My dad whispers in defeat.

My mom brings my dad into a hug and they just stand there like that for a moment.

"They're always talking about you. Try not to disappoint them this time." Zane says. He was right I always tend to be the disappointing sibling. He is my big brother, after all, he knows more than I do.

"I won't!" I state. "I won't let them down anymore," I repeat. He nods in agreement. "Good, but heads-up training will suck," Zane says.

"Wait you did the training?" I ask surprised. "Yeah, for two years. I wasn't perfect either sis. I don't want you to have to go through that as well. So just do what you can until you become queen, then you are free to do what you want."

I had no idea our parents were so hard on him. Two years is a very long time, and he hasn't even been married yet. I wonder what he did that was so bad.

"Okay," I give him a half-smile. "I'll try my best," I add. He nods then walks off.

I go to the dining table for breakfast and just sit there. I get so tired of fancy food served to me every day. I just want smores or chocolate chip cookies, or even ice cream cake. But we don't get anything that might make us fatter. It's so dumb.

My parents both stare at me as I eat my food. "Are you going to say anything dear?" My father says. "Umm good morning," I say as if it was the right answer. My brother quickly glares at me.

"I'm sorry about yesterday. It was a stupid and immature thing to do. It won't happen again, I promise." I say not meaning any of it. Honestly, I have no regrets about what I did. I saved Blaze's brother, it was so worth it. The way she looked at me and smiled as if she didn't think of saving him. The thought of her just made me smile. I quickly stopped as my parents were still looking at me.

"You're going to start training later today." My mom states. "Okay." I give off another fake smile. "I understand." I lie.

Training is a big deal. Only royal people who have made mistakes have gone to training. It's to prove their righteousness and loyalty. If I fail, I don't know what will happen. No one has ever failed, except for one. But he's dead.

"Excuse me," I say as I get up from the table. "Where are you going?" My dad says strictly. "I'm just going to wash up and practice a bit of training myself," I say with confidence, though it's a lie. Both of my parent's frowns went into a smile very quickly. "Go ahead hon." My mom said.

I turn around and walk to my room quickly. Today I had different plans, and as long as I don't get caught I should be fine.

I quickly get dressed in anything black and red. I put on a tight red shirt and a black skirt. I add black leather high boots to it as well and put on a black and red cape. A little much yes, but I have to blend in if I want to sneak over to the other side.

I quickly spread out my wings and get black dye from my drawer. I spray my wings and cover them the best I can.

I open my window and jump out, flying to the other side.

I see an open window in the kingdom and go inside. The room is dark black with a lot of posters on it. There's a king-sized bed and lava lamps on the stand next to it. I open a few drawers and see piles of clothes.

My eyes widen when I see a bunch of thongs in a drawer with a gun on top of them. I find it funny how all her clothes are back.

My hands tremble as the reach for the pistol. As soon as I get it in my hands, I stand up with it. Holding it tightly. I've always wanted to know how to use one of these, just in case I for some reason lost my powers. Not that it's possible.

I turn around with the gun to see a huge mirror looking back at me. It's then that I realize that my wings are black.

There beautiful. I never thought that having colored wings would feel so powerful. It's a nice change, I smile at my reflection. I've never felt beautiful before, im everything but.

I put the gun in my pants leaving it out halfway. The room smells of candles and cinnamon.

My hand reaches for the door handle and turns it slowly. My heart races as I realize someone is on the other side. I quickly put my wings away and dive under the bed. My hand covers my mouth, as I hold my breath.

"Do you ever think that maybe we arnt the bad guys?" I hear a familiar voice question as she jumps onto the bed, I realize it's Blaze. "Always. I mean the Angels are the ones who thrown us into this place." I hear a faint voice say through a phone.

"Yeah, I-" I hear Blaze say. "Shit! I have to go." She ads.

Crap, I stiffen my body and try not to move at all. I take a slow breath in and hold it once more.

My eyes open wide as a hand reaches the bottom of the bed sheet, pulling it up slowly, revealing me underneath.

Oh no, no, no! Please, I beg in my mind.

The sheets quickly go down and I take a deep breath as I hear a door shut and footsteps walk out of it.

"Boo!" I hear a voice say as my legs swing out from underneath the bed. "Ahh!" I scream as im pinned against the wall, and a knife is held to my throat.

It's then that I realize green eyes are staring back at me. Her eyes are wide, and she breathing heavily. "Oh," she says quickly letting go of me. "What the hell are you doing here?" She says angrily. "I could have killed you!" She added.

I couldn't help but just stare into her eyes. Her hair is messy, but cutely. She's taller than me so she has to look down at me, which is extremely cute as well. I notice a few freckles scattered on her face that I haven't seen before.

Although she let go of me, we're still extremely close. I can feel her breath hitting my skin and her pink lips are so close to mine.

"I-i" I whisper. "You what?" She asks. "I wanted to see you," I stated softly. She takes a small step back. "What why?" She questions. "I wanted to know if your brother was okay. Is he still hurt?" I ask, feeling guilty about why had happend.

"He fine, but you-" she pauses. "You need to leave. You're not supposed to be here, they will kill you." She adds. I open my mouth and shut it a few times like a fish.

"W-what?" I stutter confused. "People hate your kind. You've hurt us, killed us, tortured us. You have no idea how much they'd love to do that to one of you." She says, putting her knife away.

I look at her up and down slowly, until our eyes meet again. My heart feels like it's going to jump out of my chest, and my palms are sweaty. It takes me a moment to realize that she has gotten close to me again.

Her hand is holding both of mine, pinning them to the wall. Her other hand is on my waist, pulling me closer. My eyes flicker back and forth from her lips to her eyes. I notice myself quickly leaning in, but I don't care.

"I-" I whisper but get cut off. " Blaze come down here now! It's an emergency." She quickly releases me and steps away. "I'm coming!" She yells as she looks at me and then looks away.

"You need to go now!" She tells me. "But-" I say as she interrupts. "Just go, please." She whines. "Blaze common!" I hear someone tell her again. She quickly opens her door and shuts it, leaving me in the room alone.

I bite my lip in defeat, rethinking what had just happend. How did she even know it was me?

A smile crosses my face as I realize, we almost just kissed.
