Blaze Lennox pov:

My mind travels back to what had just happened, almost happend. I close my eyes and I vision her. Her long blond hair and her big blue eyes stare innocently at me. I shake the thought and concentrate as I run down the stairs. I know I could fly, but sometimes I just like to feel normal.

"What is it?" I ask as my eyes widen. "She's dead!" Blade cries. My eyes fill with tears as I run to my grandma's room to see her laying on the floor. A sword is stabbed through her heart, and blood is everywhere.

"No, no, no." I cry. "No!" I yell as I shake her trying to wake her up. My eyes start to water as tears fill my eyes. Tears stream down my cheeks and I fall to my knees. "No," I whisper. "No," I repeat.

My mind suddenly goes back to Harley. What was she doing here in the first place? Did she do this? Was this her evil plan?

My heart stops at the thought, and my vision blurs. I feel my brother's hands wrap around me, taking me into a hug.

"Who would do this?" I whine into his shoulder. I see a tear stream down his cheek. He never cries, at least never in front of me. How could we let this happen? She was the only parent I had left.

I close my eyes, and sob into his shoulder.

I get up slowly and walk out of the room, to the guards. This means I am now, Queen.

"As my first order as Queen, I want you guys to find who did this to her" I pause. "Then kill them!" I quickly run back to my room and slam the door.

Everything starts to blur. My hands crawl into my hair and my breath gets weak. My eyes are on the door as I sit on my bed looking forward. Tears fill my eyes once more, and I just let them fall.

Anger spikes through me, as my fangs, spike out like swords. "Why," I breathe. I wrap my arms around myself to give myself comfort and warmth.

"What happened?" I hear a familiar voice say, as they sit beside me. I look over to see Harley still here. "I-i told you to leave blondie." I stutter. "I know, I just don't like people telling me what to do." She pauses. "What just happened?" She asks again.

"M-my grandma, she's dead." I cry. She just stares at me without saying a word.

"I'm so, so sorry." She states, grabbing my hand.

I look down at our hands intertwined together. It feels nice to have someone else here.

"I got you," she says as my head lands on her shoulder.

Silence fills the room as we just sit like this for about 30 minutes. It's not an awkward silence, it's more of comfortable silence. For a moment I just wish we could stay like this forever.

I take my hands and wipe my eyes. I raise my head and take a few deep breaths in and out, as our hands stay connected.

"Why are you here blondie?" I ask, turning to face her as our eyes meet. "Honestly, I just wanted to see you." She says with a slight smile. My heart starts to jump.

"I also wanted to see what it looked like here. It's so different from our side." She adds.

"Yeah," I chuckle. "Everything is not all rainbows and butterflies over here. Serious things happen bad things." My face turns serious and I let go of her hand.

I know she didn't kill my grandma. Why would she? But on the other side, I can never be too sure, she's an angel after all.

I look down at her to see a gun in her pocket, my gun. Was she stealing it?

I quickly grab it and stand up, her eyes quickly open wide in shock. "Why do you have my gun?" I say angrily. She opens her mouth to speak but I stop her before she can say anything.

"It's funny," I give a little laugh. " I was starting to think you were different from everyone else. That maybe I could trust you." I state.

"You can," she squeaks. "No! I can't. You're a liar and a thief. Your just as bad as everyone else over there that pretends like they're better than us!" I yell.

"Stop saying that!" My eyebrows rise as she starts yelling back at me. "We are not better than you. We make mistakes too, were not perfect. You think you are the only one who has it bad but you have no idea what I go through!" She screams.

"I have to wake up every day and follow somebody else orders. I have to try my best to be what they wanna be. I have to follow rules that don't even make sense. I have to live every day making everyone else happy, except myself. You're not the only one who has it bad, so stop acting like it." She states.

"I had no idea," I say quietly. "Yeah, because you always assume that you guys are the only ones misunderstood." She adds.

"Here," she says holding out my gun. "I just wanted to learn how to use it, no one ever taught me before." She whispers as her voice slightly cracks.

"No, keep it," I say calmly. "I will teach you, and you can keep it," I repeat. A smile crosses her face in excitement. "Really?" She says.

"Yeah, why not?" I grin. Seeing her smile makes me so happy. I can feel my cheeks getting red as her smile grows.

"Come on, follow me," I say as I fly out the window. "Okay," she says as she does as I say.

Once we make it to the woods we fly down into the middle of it. Cans are sitting on stools, and there are a few targets placed here and there.

My grandma taught me how to shoot when I was 14.

I quickly load the gun as she stands beside me admiring the woods. I don't know how she's surprised by it. It's just a bunch of green trees, fairies, and nature.

I don't use this gun unless it's for practice. But I like to have it with me just in case something bad ever happens, or I somehow lose my powers. My grandma taught me how to fight, protect, and use almost anything as a weapon. She was amazing. My eyes start to blur as I think of her, I shake it off and ignore it

I take Harley through the first few steps of using the gun until we get to the point where you shoot it.

"Then," I pause. "Boom!" The gun fires and she jumps up scared of the noise. A smile crosses my face at how adorable she is when she's scared, she doesn't even have to try.

"Wow, okay." She laughs taking the gun out of my hand and doing the few steps I've taught her before shooting. She then aims, but I realize she's aiming too high and I go over to her.

I stand behind her and put my hands on hers, I bring the gun lower so that it has a better chance of hitting the target.

"Now," I whisper in her ear as she quickly fires the gun. "Boom!"

"I did it! I did it!" She screams as she jumps up in down like a little child. "Nice," I smirk grabbing the gun out of her hands.

I aim and shoot the rest of the targets, in one shot. "Show off." She smiles as I hit everyone perfectly in the middle.

"Thank you," I say as turn to her. I reload the gun and then hand her it. "As I said, you can keep it. I have more." I say. "Thanks," she says as she takes it out of my hand. "I should get going. I had fun though, so thank you. I never really get to go out." She adds.

"Oh, well im here anytime, and you're welcome," I say as my eyes meet hers.

She spreads out her wings and starts to fly. "See you around blondie," I smirk as she flies off. "See you around," she yells.
