Harley Rykers pov:

Blazes words run through my head nonstop. "I'll be okay, I'll be prepared." I spit out my toothpaste and look into the mirror. I cup my hands under the sink and brush the cold water onto my face.

I have a bad feeling about this, a really bad one.

I wipe my face off and quickly get dressed. Blaze is constantly on my mind, not just in her words but in her body.

I take a deep breath and look in the mirror. I squish my little stomach fat and sigh. How could someone love this? I'm so, ugly.  I see my blue eyes staring back at me, my smile turned to a frown, and my eyes are watery.

No, stop this. "You are beautiful," I mumble. "Y-you are b-beautiful," I repeat.

"Say it louder blondie." I hear someone with a deep voice say. My eyes open wide as I turn around to face the black thin shadow. He's wearing all black with a heavy set of muscles. His voice is rough and deep. He's wearing a mask that covers his whole face, fitting it perfectly. His mask is black, with a slit of a big smile on it. It has a few red stains on it, blood maybe.

I quickly threw a punch at his face, making him laugh maniacally. I quickly ran out of my bathroom, but as soon as I turned the thin figure was in front of me.

"What the heck," I whisper as my eyes grow wide. "You can't outrun a vampire hun, it's nearly impossible." He says letting out another dark laugh. I can almost feel him smirking behind the mask.

My body aches in fear, this can't be happening. I try to move, but I feel frozen. Like I'm too scared to do anything. "I- I." I stutter repeatedly. "It's alright." He says quickly putting a cloth over my mouth and holding my nose.

I struggle to breathe as I try to move away frantically. No, this can't be happening. This can't be real, I think to myself as my body weakens and everything goes black. This can't be real.

Continuation of Harley pov:

"Splash," every inch of my body aches as ice-cold water falls onto my body. I notice I'm in a chair, my legs and arms tied to each post. A small groan comes out of my mouth as I try to move. The room smells of heavy rot and is enough to make you puke the second you inhale it.

A small gag escapes my mouth, then another right after. The room is filled with darkness, and a small light is shining on my face. The thin figure comes back into view, "Ahh, my beautiful princess is awake." He hisses, I can almost see the grin through his mask.

"What do you want from me." I snapped, angrily and was confused. "My kingdom with notice that I'm gone, they will come looking for me!" I yell, looking at him straight in his eyes.

"It's not your kingdom, not yet anyways." He says with a deep, stern voice. "Relax, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just doing my job. Well, at least I will try not to get my hands on you. I've heard I'm pretty good at doing my surgeries though." A small laugh escapes his mouth as his hand cups my cheek. His thumb scatters back and forth as his hand rests on my skin.

"Get off of me FREAK!" I scream as a tear glides down the side of my face. "I like my women feisty," he laughs magically.

Another figure enters the room, as a small light peeks through the door.

"What the fuck are you doing? You had one job, capture her." I hear a familiar voice say.

"I was just having some fun!." The guy in the mask says back.

"She looks frightened as shit, why did you tie her up? And get that stupid ass mask off your face. You look like a living nightmare." The familiar voice snaps at the masked man.

Then it hits me, It's Blade, Blaze's brother. He has a lot of explaining to do.

"I tied her up because I didn't want her to escape, your welcome." The masked man laughs taking off his mask as he heads towards the door and leaves.

Blade quickly rips off the role tied to my hands and legs. He looks at me quickly, his eyes filled with guilt. Our eyes stay connected for about a minute. The room grows quiet and speechless.

I stand up slowly as he backs away. "Why am I here?" I say angrily. "Look, I know I have a lot to explain-" Blaze says as I cut him off.

"Explain? Yeah, you do. Like why on earth did you send someone to kidnap me after I rescued you? Where am I? And why the heck did you kidnap me in the first place?" I say as I pace back and forth.

My hands travel through my long blond hair, gripping it hard as I calm myself down. I let my hands fall back down and mess with the other anxiously.

"I know, I know. Just one thing at a time okay?" Blade says calmly, making me calmer as well.

Blade's pov:

I watch as Harley paces around, scared of what the future beholds for her. God, she's so beautiful. She is so nice, kind, sweet, brave, and so much more. I will never forget that she saved my life. I know I can never tell her how I truly feel about her, and that's just something I will have to live with. My sister deserves her more than I ever will.

"You are here because we don't want anything bad to happen to you. If both sides are going to fight I want you to be safe. We want you to be safe." I say firmly.

"Please don't hurt my family!" She whines as her eyes start to water. "My family, friends, and kingdom are going to be there. I can't just stand here knowing they are going to die!" She yells.

I hate seeing her like this, painful and in tears. She looks like a beautiful mess, I could just look at her all day.

"I-i know blondie, but your people sent going to be the only ones dying. Our people will too, it's a war on both ends." I say knowing this won't calm her down.

Harleys pov:

"War on both ends?" I whisper. Every word that slips out of his mouth fills me with anger. My people, my family, Blaze, how do I know they will be safe? I have to stop this, I have to do something.

I look up at Blade to see him staring at me in awe. "What?" I snap. "Nothing," he smirks. Gosh, I hate his smirk, it's so annoying. How can you even find this moment to be funny?

"Listen blondie.... I have an idea." Blade says with an even bigger grin on his face than before.

I can't tell if this is a good or bad idea, but if it had anything to do with the war then i'm IN.
